“Lawyer’s letters serve as warnings and notifications,” Amelia said calmly. “It’s proper procedure.“]
Louie chuckled. “Got it.“[]

As she prepared to stand, her phone buzzed again.[]
But this time was different–a message came to her other number.[]
She glanced at it thoughtfully.
“Elena?” Sunny asked. “Something wrong?“]
“Nothing.” Amelia refocused and stood. “Let’s go.“[]
With Sunny’s help, she headed toward the stage.]
Meanwhile, at Harrison Industries‘ top floor, Nathan sensed something was wrong the moment he arrived. All the secretarial staff kept their heads down in complete silence.
Eddie opened the CEO office door, and Nathan had barely stepped inside when a cane swung at his head.[]
Nathan instinctively dodged.[]
“How dare you dodge!” An angry, familiar voice erupted. Nathan looked up to see his grandfather, Richard Harrison, standing before him.[]
“Grandpa.”
Seeing the old man unsteady, Nathan moved to help.
His grandfather seized the chance to whack Nathan’s arm with the cane.[]
“You still know I’m your grandfather.” The old man’s chest heaved with fury as he pointed at Nathan. “Richard Harrison has no grandson like you!“[]
“Weren’t you watching that Vivian woman perform? Why come back!“[]
Grandpa Harrison pointed at a screen showing the ‘Voice of Heaven‘ broadcast–currently the judge team selection segment, with Vivian inviting contestants to join her team.]
“Stop looking!” Grandpa Harrison shouted again.[]
Nathan looked away helplessly. “Grandpa.“[]
When the old man ignored him, Nathan appealed to his grandmother.[]
“Grandma…“]]
“Don’t call me that. I’m angry too.“]
Grandma Harrison gently soothed Grandpa while saying, “Your grandfather and I have been together for decades. He never let outside women mistreat me. I thought you, raised by us from childhood, would treat Amelia well. Clearly, I was wrong.”
“Grandma…”
“Don’t call me grandma! Go find Amelia right now.” Grandpa Harrison raged. “Having a wife but going to watch a mistress perform–even having it broadcast! The online comments are horrible. Amelia must be devastated.“]
The old man pointed his cane at Nathan commandingly. “I don’t care what method you use–swear oaths, get on your knees–bring her back to me!”
Everything happened quickly. The office door was still open–Eddie hadn’t had time to close it.
So Grandpa Harrison’s loud scolding echoed throughout the entire floor.[]
Nathan held his aching arm where his grandfather had hit him, his lips pressed tight.[]
“Did Amelia complain to you?” he asked.]

This made Grandpa Harrison even more furious. He raised his cane to strike again.[]
Grandma Harrison quickly supported Richard, who was already pale and nearly fainting from the exertion–his health couldn’t handle this stress.]
“Grandpa.” Nathan reached out to help, but Grandma Harrison pushed him away.
She called Eddie over while turning her back to Nathan:[]
“Nathan, your parents weren’t around when you were young. We old folks didn’t know how to raise children properly. Making you turn out like this is our fault.”
Her tone was calm, but her words cut deep.]]
Nathan suddenly panicked.[]
Without looking back, Grandma Harrison had Eddie help Richard into his wheelchair toward the elevator.]
When Nathan tried to follow, she said: “If you want to make your grandfather die of anger, feel free to come along.”
“Don’t come see us until you bring Amelia back.” With that final statement, she entered the elevator.[]
Nathan stood frozen.
On the entire floor, not one employee dared speak.
They all acted deaf and mute.[]
The floor was silent as a tomb, only the broadcast audio breaking the quiet.]
On screen, Vivian held her microphone with confidence: “Elena, you’re very talented. I admire you greatly. If we form a team together, I can create an amazing stage for you. I’ll work hard to help you succeed. So, will you join my team?“]
The host energetically announced: “Ladies and gentlemen, Judge Vivian has officially invited Elena to join her team! Let’s see Elena’s choice!“]
On screen, the woman in the burning rose costume stepped forward and took the microphone from the host.
