Chapter 11
Howard smiled as he delivered his report to Julie. “Ms. Stamford, I’ve obtained the divorce agreement. Samuel has signed it. All I have to do now is send it to the civil affairs bureau to be processed. You’ll get your divorce certificate in no time.”
“Samuel signed it so quickly?” Julie’s voice was filled with surprise as it echoed from the other end of the line.
She was shocked not because she still harbored any delusions about Samuel, but because the divorce agreement clearly stated that she wanted Cynthia to return her uterus to her. Julie wanted Cynthia to pay for the consequences of her actions.
“Samuel agreed to all the terms in the divorce agreement?” Julie asked, her voice colored with uncertainty. “Did he modify the terms of his own accord?”
“Don’t worry, Ms. Stamford. I looked through the document when Samuel delivered it to me. He didn’t change any of the terms stated in the agreement,” Howard replied in a low voice.
“Samuel has agreed to all your terms, including the one where you want Cynthia to pay for the consequences of her actions.”
“Is that so?” Julie chuckled softly. “He’s willing to agree to that. He’s such a…”
Julie let her words trail off into silence.
Samuel was such a heartless man for agreeing to her terms. He wasn’t just heartless toward her. He was just as heartless toward Cynthia.
She guessed that the only person that Samuel cared about in his heart was himself.
In reality, Samuel didn’t look through the divorce agreement before he signed his name on it. He had no intention to divorce Julie, after all. He had only signed it to use the document as bait to discover where she was hiding.
While Howard and Julie conversed over the phone, the hacker, whom Samuel had spent a small fortune to hire, was already working hard to track down Julie’s location through their phone
call.
The hacker had hidden himself a floor below Howard’s office. When Samuel left Howard’s law
firm, he had immediately gone downstairs to rendezvous with the hacker.
“How’s it going?” he asked, anxiety written all over his face. “Have you found out where Julie is?”
“I’m working on it,” the hacker replied. “Another professional hacker installed an anti- tracking system in your ex-wife’s phone. It’s a bit more complicated to break through its

defenses, so I need more time.”
“Ex-wife? Julie and I aren’t getting a divorce!” Samuel exclaimed, disgruntled. “Howard blackmailed me into signing that divorce agreement. It doesn’t count!”

From Samuel’s perspective, Julie and he were just going through a rough patch in their relationship. Their feelings for each other ran deep. They wouldn’t divorce over such a small
matter.
What he needed to do now was find Julie as quickly as possible. Once he found her, he would explain everything to her, and their relationship would go back to the way it was before.
He refused to accept that Julie was his ex-wife. He refused to accept that they were going to divorce too! He already made himself clear-his marriage with Julie would only end with one of them being widowed. They would never divorce!
“I did it!” the hacker exclaimed excitedly as his fingers flew across the keyboard. “I’ve tracked down her location! Julie is in Arasia, Kaubreta!”
