Chapter 13
Before Julie left, she sent Samuel all the videos that Cynthia had sent to her to provoke her. However, the professional disappearing -service group didn’t know about this. As a result, a mistake had been made.
When Julie’s plane took off into the sky, the hacker employed by the disappearing-service group started up his program and wiped every trace of Julie from Samuel’s phone. Because of this, Samuel didn’t receive any of the videos that Cynthia sent to Julie.
Samuel left his phone with the hacker so he could work on it. Although it took some time, the hacker was able to restore the missing data on his phone. Before Samuel’s plane to Kaubreta took off, the hacker returned his phone to him.
“I’ve restored all the missing data on your phone. However, your wife has blocked you from contacting her on all platforms. The only thing I could do was restore your chat logs with her. If you want to get out of her block list, you’ll have to figure that out yourself.”
Samuel nodded. “That’s more than enough. Thank you.”
“You’re welcome,” the hacker said with a smile. “After all, I’m getting paid for
my
work.”
Samuel transferred the remaining money that he owed the hacker into his account. To show
how thankful he was, he even gave the hacker a bonus.
After all was said and done, Samuel boarded the plane, phone in hand. He didn’t look through it immediately. After all, the hacker had just told him that Julie had blocked him from contacting her on all platforms.
Even though Julie’s Twitter account had reappeared on his following list, he was unable to send her any messages. The most he could do was scroll through their past chat logs and wallow in his misery.
However, Samuel wasn’t the type of man who would retreat into himself when he was faced with a challenge. He wasn’t the type of man who would silently cry and pathetically scroll through their past conversations after getting his heart broken.
Samuel was a respectable man. He wouldn’t engage in such a pathetic act. It was why he closed his eyes and rested throughout the entire flight. He didn’t even spare a single glance at his phone.
Samuel wasn’t a failure, nor was he a pathetic loser. He was determined to win Julie back during this trip to Kaubreta. He would restore their relationship to how it was before.
After 23 hours, the plane finally landed in Kaubreta. Samuel didn’t immediately seek Julie out after he disembarked from the plane. Instead, he checked himself into a hotel so he could

properly freshen up. He then ordered his subordinate to purchase a crisp suit for him from the nearby shopping mall.
He changed into the new suit and styled his hair carefully. He was only satisfied after making sure that he was presentable from head to toe. He then carried a large bouquet of roses with him to look for Julie.
Meanwhile, Julie was taking a stroll in the park with her friend, Connor Graham, who used to be her senior during her university days.
They were having a good time chatting and laughing with one another when Samuel suddenly charged into their path.

“Julie! Did you come to Kaubreta because of him? I was right to suspect that something was going on between the two of you during our university days!” he yelled.
“How dare you betray me and go on a date with your old flame behind my back? Do you have any respect for me as your husband?”
