Chapter 21
Cynthia’s expression twisted in terror when Samuel suddenly grabbed her by the throat.
“No… No… I wasn’t lying to you, Sam…” Cynthia sobbed, her face streaked with tears. “You’re hurting me, Sam! Please, let go!”
But in that moment, her tears no longer had any effect on Samuel.
He let out a cold laugh. “So, you never lied to me? Why don’t I take you to the hospital right now to get some tests done? I don’t like being played! If the results show that you don’t have cancer, I’m going to stuff you full of carcinogens until you do get cancer!”
That one sentence was enough to drain all the color from Cynthia’s face.
“No! Don’t!” she cried out, her face deathly pale. “I made a mistake, Sam. Please let me go. I didn’t mean to lie to you. I only did it because I love you too much!
“It’s just like how you fell madly in love with me. I loved you so much, I lost my mind! I loved you so much that I grew jealous of Julie. I didn’t want to be your secret lover. I wanted to stand proudly by your side!”
Despite Cynthia’s passionate confession, Samuel remained completely unmoved.
He curled his lips, his expression more of a snarl than a smile. “So, you secretly filmed us in bed and sent those videos to Julie behind my back?”
Cynthia’s countenance took on an ashen pallor. She flinched, her voice trembling as she said, ” You… You found out?”
That one line set Samuel off.
He backhanded her across her face, sending her crashing to the floor. “You fucking bitch! How many times have I warned you to stay away from Julie? And you went to provoke her on purpose! I treated you so well. I even had her uterus removed. And this is how you betray me?”
His anger only grew with every word. As he cursed at her, he charged in and kicked her ruthlessly in the stomach.
“This is all your fault! It’s all your fault! If it weren’t for you, Julie wouldn’t have found out I was cheating! It’s all your fault! If it weren’t for you, Julie wouldn’t have left me!”
Samuel kicked Cynthia in the stomach several times, but still did not feel satisfied. So, he grabbed her by her hair, dragged her toward the wall, and bashed her head against it with brutal force!
“You seemed proud of yourself in those videos, Cynthia! Did you think you could step in and

become my legitimate wife if she left me? Dream on! You’re not even worth one of Julie’s toes! Do you know why I had you give birth to those children? Because childbirth kills!
“I couldn’t bear the thought of Julie suffering if she gave birth. That’s why I chose you to bear children in her place. Even if your insides got torn up and started rotting, I wouldn’t feel a thing because you’re just that worthless to me!”

Samuel continued to hurl obscenities at Cynthia while grabbing her by her hair and repeatedly slamming her head against the wall.
Before long, her head was covered in blood.
The once-white wall was now streaked with a horrifying patch of red!
