Chapter 7
Seeing that I was hurt, my classmates rushed over to help me up.
Looking at the sympathy and kindness in their eyes, I knew I’d definitely changed the outcome this lifetime.
Because in my past life, when they looked at me, there was only disgusted hatred,
Jaxon was completely baffled by this and angrily shouted at the students helping me:
“When did you all become so fucking corrupt? Just because Aria’s family has money, you’re taking her side regardless of right and wrong? Disgusting! Pathetic!”
I knew there was no point in arguing, so I pulled out my phone and dialed 911.
“Hello, I need to report an assault.”
Jaxon laughed mockingly.
“You, an abusive piece of shit, dare to call the cops? When they get here, they’ll be arresting you!”
Jaxon’s phone rang again. After answering, his face suddenly went pale with panic.
‘Mom? Mom! What’s wrong? I’m coming home right now!”
With that, Jaxon shot me one last furious glare and ran off without looking back.
Seeing Jaxon leave and not a single classmate willing to stand up for her, even her two roommates slinking back to their seats when they saw how things were going, Willow could only cower in a corner, sobbing.
What the hell are you crying for?! Are you at a funeral or something?!”
A classmate who was fed up with her wailing snapped irritably.
‘Willow Cellin, everyone knows what really happened. Stop the act-you’re fucking annoying!”
Willow protested indignantly, still sniffling:
What act? What are you talking about?”
Just go check out the video in the school group chat! Jesus, Willow, you really opened my eyes. With acting skills like that, why aren’t you in Hollywood?”
Willow realized something was wrong and quickly pulled out her phone, trembling as she opened the video I’d posted to the group chat last night.
The moment her voice came through, she understood everything.
All her outrageous words and her jumping off the balcony without hesitation had been recorded crystal clear.
Reading through all the mockery and abuse directed at her in the comments, Willow had a complete breakdown and started running toward the wall.
‘I don’t want to live anymore! Aria, remember this-my death is on you!”
But when she realized not a single classmate was trying to stop her, instead they all simultaneously raised their phones to record her.
While filming, they were saying things like:
“Willow Cellin’s threatening suicide again because she didn’t get money-this has nothing to do with me, so don’t try to pin this on me!”,
Willow obviously wasn’t actually willing to die.
Seeing this, she was mortified and shot me a vicious glare before running out of the classroom in tears.
