My Pain Becomes 7

Chapter 7

“What?”

“How could that be possible?”

“Is she out of her mind? Who would expose their own credentials and have internet trolls share posts against

themselves?”

I immediately created a group chat and added everyone to it. I shared all the evidence that the private investigator had

gathered-IP addresses of the poster, a screenshot of SAT score, and images of a burner account buying internet trolls.

All these clues pointed directly to Layla orchestrating everything herself.

The hospital director was absolutely furious after seeing it all.

After all, hiring such a doctor had seriously damaged the hospital’s reputation.

Other hospital directors privately said he was blind to have hired her.

But at the time, when he heard Layla had a unique technique, he didn’t even check her academic background. He just

wanted to prove himself in front of the other directors.

He never imagined that Layla would expose everything herself.

“Why did she do this?”

“Exactly. Not only is she unable to perform surgeries anymore, but she’s also ruined the hospital’s reputation.”

I smiled slightly. “Exactly. She didn’t want to perform surgeries anymore, so she ruined her own reputation.”

But what she didn’t expect was that even though everyone knew she was an unqualified hack, the patients had already

gotten used to her pain-free treatments.

How could they go back to enduring pain now?

So, there were still many people protesting, demanding that she resume surgeries.

As for why she exposed her own dirty laundry after treating the billionaire heiress, the reason was simple: she thought I

was dead.

She assumed that, without me, she could no longer transfer pain.

After all, she had made enough money from the previous surgeries. If she sold the poor, bullied image of herself-one who couldn’t take up the scalpel again due to being slandered and attacked online-she could cover up everything she’d done before.

But she didn’t expect that I didn’t die.

That shattered her plan.

What was worse, Layla never anticipated that I would directly expose her scheming.

An awkward smile spread across her face. “I’m just… a little tired…”

“You’re just not able to perform surgeries anymore, Layla. Stop pretending!”

I snorted coldly and called her out directly.

Everyone’s gaze shifted to her, intensifying the pressure.

Finally, Layla gave up and decided to quit hiding.

“I really can’t do it now, but Aurora, don’t lie to everyone either. You can’t do it either.”

Without saying a word, I grabbed the endoscope and started inserting it into my nose.

The expression on my face remained unchanged, making everyone gasp.

“Dr. Hart can really do it?”

“She just slid it in without hesitation.”

“Layla wouldn’t even dare try it herself. Is Aurora really that brave? Who was the one spreading rumors that she was

jealous of Layla?”

By the time I had the tube fully inserted, I hadn’t even flinched.

Compared to Layla, who looked as pale as a ghost, it was clear who was in control.

Layla, trembling and holding the tube in her hands, stammered, “How is this possible? Why can you do it too? Who did you

transfer the pain to?”
