Married the Devil 7

Chapter 7

Ethan’s face was ashen as he gripped Sophia’s wrist with such force it felt like he might crush her bones. “How has she

wronged you! You’ve hurt her again and again, but I still forced her to apologize to make you happy. Yet you’re so vicious you want to stab her to death! How did you become so evil?!”

Sophia’s face went pale with pain, but her eyes were ice-cold.

The Ethan who had once unconditionally taken her side, who claimed he would only believe her, had completely

disappeared.

He suddenly released her and Sophia fell backward, her head hitting the table corner hard as blood immediately began flowing. Without even glancing at her, Ethan carried Isabella and ran outside.

“Ethan…” Isabella lay in his arms. “Am I going to die…”

“No, don’t be afraid.” His voice was panicked to the extreme. “I promise I won’t let anything happen to you.”

That last sentence, Ethan said with absolute determination.

Just like when they married, he had knelt before Sophia with red eyes, swearing he would protect her with his life.

Sophia supported herself against the wall, slowly standing up.

She wiped away the blood from her forehead and the last trace of love for him from her heart…

Just then, her phone received a text message: [Miss Smith, your immigration paperwork and identity cancellation have been approved and are effective immediately.]

Seeing the five billion transferred to her account, she called a courier to deliver the signed share transfer agreement to the

Williams family.

Sophia returned to the bedroom, packed all the photos, love letters, and couple’s items, and threw them all into a fire

basin.

Then she picked up her suitcase and headed for the door.

But just as she reached the entrance, someone suddenly put a hood over her head and forced her into a car. Before Sophia could react, sharp pain shot through her arm-someone was drawing her blood. She struggled desperately but to

no avail.

Time passed minute by minute, and Sophia’s body began to feel cold, her consciousness growing hazier.

A panicked scream suddenly reached her ears. “We can’t draw any more! This exceeds the maximum safe blood donation

limit. If we continue, something will happen!”

The air in the car seemed to freeze for a moment.

Then came a deliberately lowered voice. “Continue. This is the last time…”

The final whisper was barely audible, unclear whether it was meant to comfort himself or someone else.

Perhaps because she had expected this, Sophia wasn’t particularly heartbroken.

At this moment, she had only one thought-she couldn’t pass out. She had to stay alive and leave this place.

She bit down hard on her tongue, her mouth filling with the taste of blood.

But no matter how hard she tried, her brain grew heavier and her vision darker…

Just then, a phone rang.

“Mr. Miller, did you get the blood? Isabella’s condition is very bad…”

“I’m coming right away!”

Perhaps because of the urgency, no one noticed her hood had loosened.

Through the gap, she saw Ethan grab the blood bag from the table and run toward the hospital without hesitation, leaving in such a hurry that he forgot to have someone remove the needle from her hand.

Fresh red blood dripped steadily through the tube onto the floor as Sophia used all her strength to break free from her

restraints.

Having lost too much blood, she collapsed as soon as she pushed open the car door, the rough gravel scraping her palms and knees. But she felt no pain, crawling and stumbling to the road to hail a taxi.

Back home, she changed into clean clothes and placed the divorce papers on the bedroom vanity.

Then she picked up her suitcase and walked out without looking back.

On the way, she broke her SIM card and threw it out the window, just like her past with Ethan-all of it vanishing into thin

air.
