Hearing my words, Logan’s expression shifted repeatedly as he muttered:
“That’s impossible… it can’t be… Bailey loves me. She would never hurt me like this!”
“Autumn, you’re just jealous of Bailey. You’re deliberately trying to drive a wedge between us!”
Seeing how hopelessly stubborn Logan remained, I didn’t bother arguing further.
If this show was going to continue, I’d have to move things along myself.
I turned to the security chief: “Sir, this smartwatch was given to Director Reed by an external consultant from our bureau. Perhaps we should bring her in for questioning as well.”
“Is this consultant here too?”
I nodded. “Yes, she’s currently at our hotel.”
The chief immediately dispatched officers to bring Bailey in.
Logan didn’t object. Instead, he looked at me triumphantly:
‘Good! When Bailey arrives, let’s see what excuses you’ll make up to slander us!”
I honestly didn’t know whether to laugh at his naivety or his stupidity.
But if my guess was correct, Bailey was already long gone from the hotel.
Sure enough, half an hour later, the security officers returned without Bailey.
‘Chief, we arrived too late. She’s disappeared. We only found a suitcase in the room.”
Logan jumped up in shock, grabbing the officer’s collar and shouting:
‘What do you mean ‘disappeared“?!”
The security officer didn’t tolerate this behavior. He grabbed Logan’s wrist and threw him off.
‘Sir, control yourself. If you continue with physical aggression, you’ll face additional charges of

assaulting security personnel.”
The chief gave Logan a cold look, then instructed his team to open the suitcase.
Suddenly, Logan frantically tried to block everyone from opening the suitcase.
“These are my personal belongings! You have No RIGHT to search them!”
But his desperate actions only made him look more suspicious.
The chief immediately ordered his men to restrain Logan while they forcibly opened the suitcase.
Next second, the contents were eye–opening to say the least-
Fishnet stockings, various adult costumes, and a large box of opened condoms.
I raised an eyebrow, my tone contemptuous: “Logan, is this your definition of ‘nothing to hide“?
Absolutely disgusting.”
The other team members and security personnel looked on with revulsion.
“I always thought Director Reed was a respectable professional. Can’t believe he’s so sleazy! During such an important international conference, and he’s focused on these shits.”
“I heard he only got the team leader position through connections. That position should have gone to
Autumn.”
“Autumn has both talent and beauty, and she ended up with this revolting man!”
Logan’s face flushed crimson. After a long pause, he finally sputtered:
“These are all my personal preferences, there’s NOTHING against the rules here!”
“But YOU people going through my personal belongings? THAT’S an invasion of MY privacy! I’m definitely filing a complaint against all of you!”
Unnoticed, I moved closer to the suitcase and carefully examined its contents again.
In a hidden compartment of one of the costumes, I discovered several miniature listening devices–identical to the one found in Logan’s smartwatch.
Logan hadn’t noticed what I was doing and continued his tirade:

I let out a derisive laugh and placed the listening devices in front of him.
Logan’s voice abruptly stopped, his face draining of all color.
