Chapter 1
Never thought I’d die.
In my mind,I’d take Gabriel’s thirty million dollars, disappear overseas, leave all that bullshit behind.
The rest of my life would be nothing but happiness times.
But at the moment the plane crashed, everything was… gone.
Fucking shit!
That ticket Gabriel had Benjamin booked me–it wasn’t a first–class ride to new life.
It was a one–way ticket to hell.
Suddenly I’m thinking about the last time see him. We hadn’t contacted for about two months.
He was too busy dealing with Eleanor’s divorce drama, settling things with her and her ex–husband’s kid.
Took him long time to remember he actually had a girlfriend.
So he carved out a whole hour of his precious time to come my home.
Well, not really “my” house. LA’s most exclusive neighborhood–every square inch worth a fortune. Without Gabriel, I never would’ve set foot in a place like that.
Not long before, we’d been made love in bed together, his arm around my waist. I’d playfully scratched marks down his back, just to mess with him.
But it’s weird how things change. After just a couple months apart, we suddenly felt like strangers.
We sat at opposite ends of the table, miles between us.
“What do you want?” he asked. Straight to the point.
I didn’t sugarcoat it either.
Three years of my life–I wanted thirty million dollars for it.
Sure, I’ll admit it… I did love him once.
But that love? It died the moment I realized I was nothing but a fucking stand–in for someone else.
He nodded. “Fine.” Cold as ice.
you can’t stay in LA. She doesn’t want to stay at the same place with you.”
Wow.

Chapter 1
Of course I had to take it.
Knowing Gabriel, if I refused, he would’ve found a dozen other ways to run me out. And then I really so pathetic.
He mentioned a place.
“I’ve got properties there. Take your pick–whichever one you want, it’s yours.”
How generous.
I smiled. “Sounds good.”
He gave a slight nod. “We won’t see each other again. You can handle that, right?”
My existence was clearly cramping their style as the happy couple.
“Of course,” I said.
I’m an orphan.
Barely finished college study three years ago.
Heard of LA was somewhere you could make real money, so I came here.
Did some model work for a few days–actually loved it and enjoyed it.
But soon after,I met Gabriel.
He pursued me like crazy for two weeks, and just like that, we were together.
He didn’t like me being in the public, so I started shrinking my world… smaller and smaller until it was just him.
So small that after all these years together, everyone I knew was his friend, not mine.
There is nothing trapped me here.So I was dying to get the hell out and never come back.
Never see him again.
But life’s a real bitch, isn’t it?I see Gabriel again after my death.
But he can’t see me because I’m just a ghost now.
