That night, Zach made sure I didn’t get a wink of sleep. Let’s just say I was thoroughly
“satisfied” and then some.
In my exhaustion, I drifted into a strange dream.
In the dream, I saw myself wearing ridiculous, flashy outfits, all in a desperate attempt to
get Zach’s attention.
But every time he saw me dressed like that, he just looked… irritated.
And every time I felt frustrated by Zach’s indifference, I took it out on poor little Cooper.
His constant tantrums only made me angrier, and I completely forgot that I wasn’t just
Zach’s wife–I was Cooper’s mom.
In the end, I even roped some random guy into pretending to be my lover, hoping to make Zach jealous.
We went to an expensive restaurant, and when Zach saw us, he simply walked away
without a word.
Panicked, I chased after him, but in the middle of the road, a car hit me, and I blacked
out.
The scene shifted, and I saw Zach sitting by my hospital bed, holding my hand tightly.
“Jenny, please wake up… If you do, I’ll agree to the divorce. I’ll give you whatever you want.”
His voice trembled, and tears streamed down his face.
“I’ll let you go.”
I woke up with a start, my heart pounding.
So… that’s what happened?
The man beside me was still asleep, his arm wrapped around my waist, holding me close.
It was just a dream.
Everything was fine. I was still here, with the man I loved. With Zach.
I snuggled deeper into his arms and hugged him tightly.
“Jenny, I’m hungry,” Zach suddenly mumbled, his eyes fluttering open. Those deep,
lust–filled eyes were fixed on me.
“I love you, Zach,” I whispered, pressing my lips to his.
Outside, the sun shone brightly, and it felt like our spring had just begun.
