Chapter 5
Rage flooded Mason’s face.
He strode toward me, grabbed my throat, and pinned me against the headboard.
‘Say that again. I dare you!”
‘Just because you can’t have kids doesn’t mean everyone else’is broken too.”
I couldn’t breathe, my throat constricting painfully.
But seeing Mason’s furious expression, I still managed to force out a laugh.
‘I never told you… because I wanted… to protect… your pride…”
‘Now… congrats… on your… fake baby daddy moment.”
He flung me sideways by my neck, throwing me across the bed.
‘You bitch!”
‘You think Emma’s anything like you? I know exactly how pure she is!”
He straightened his shirt collar.
As if worried his brutality toward me might affect his polished image.
Free from his grip, I lay on the bed laughing uncontrollably.
‘Why would I lie about this? Just go get tested again if you don’t believe me.”
‘After all our years together, I’m trying to give you some friendly advice, and this is how you react.”
But Mason dismissed my words, his voice brimming with self–assurance.
‘Why would I need tests? Emma’s pregnancy is all the proof I need!”
“There’s no point arguing with a lunatic like you.”
“Just remember, you’ll never have children of your own. Not in this lifetime.”
With that, Mason left as if he’d won some great victory, walking tall and fast.
My laughter slowly froze on my face.

BEFRI His Mistress is Pregnant? But Hie Sperm Count is ZEROL
Chapter 3
Resentment and bitter satisfaction twisted together in my heart.
I wasn’t lying to Mason.
He truly was sterile.
Since our marriage began, Mason and I had always wanted children.
Once the company was stable, we stopped using contraception, but I never got pregnant.
Eventually, we went to the hospital for fertility testing.
When it was time to collect the results, Mason was too busy, so I went alone.
When I saw his report, my world collapsed-
SPERMATOZOA NOT IDENTIFIED.
Mason was an orphan.
He’d always envied his classmates who had real families.
Even when we were dating, he’d often tell me how much he longed for a bustling, loving household.
He said when he got married, he wanted to have several children.
I’d tease him back then: “Who says I’m having all these kids for you?”
I never imagined Mason would be physically incapable of having children.
So I hid the truth from him, tearing up the report and throwing it in the trash.
४
Mason already had insecurities about his background.
I couldn’t bear to give him another reason to feel inadequate.
I even had an IUD inserted.
In my foolish thinking, if I pretended to share his inability to have children, I could better understand his pain.
And it worked–I never thought less of Mason because of his infertility, but it caused him to develop unfounded suspicions about me.
Despite how badly things ended, I can say I acted with a clear conscience throughout our marriage.
As for how Mason managed to get someone else pregnant–I truly have no idea.
I sense a new storm brewing.
