When we got married in my past life, Christopher said he only wanted peaceful companionship.
So for his sake, I suppressed all my talents, cooked and did laundry for him, and even gave Eleanor all the credit for my work and sacrifices.
But in the end, all I got was betrayal from both Christopher and Dylan.

After hearing our conversation, Julian immediately had the servants bring paper and pen from his study, demanding that we write congratulatory messages on the spot.
Eleanor suddenly looked relieved and picked up the fountain pen without hesitation to start writing.
Christopher watched from the side, his face full of satisfaction.
Ten minutes later, Eleanor finally put down her pen.
After reading her congratulatory message, the guests kept praising her, while my table had only a blank sheet of paper.

Christopher laughed mockingly: “See, I told you I know Natalie best. She’s only fit to be a housewife. In other areas, she can’t compare to Eleanor at all.”
Then, as if looking out for me, he stepped forward to pull me away: “Come on, stop embarrassing the Morris family.”
Eleanor also chimed in smugly: “Natalie, you were always focused on Christopher before and never properly learned these things. But it’s no big deal. I can forgive you for secretly plagiarizing my paintings and greeting cards. After all, we’re family.”
The watching guests also tried to persuade me.
A man said: “Miss Morris, you should apologize quickly and properly celebrate Mr. White’s birthday.”
A woman said disdainfully: “Miss Eleanor Morris is kind and generous, more like a true member of the Morris family than Miss Morris herself.”
Another woman said coldly: “If I were Mrs. Athena Morris, I’d regret having such an embarrassing daughter.”
Eleanor said hypocritically: “Don’t talk nonsense. I don’t care at all whether I’m the biological daughter of the Morris family. Since Mom and Dad raised me, it’s enough if I can contribute to the Morris family.”

I was furious and sneered: “You’re just an illegitimate daughter who can’t make it to the big stage. What gives you the right to say such things?”
At that moment, my bodyguard walked in with a timid woman – she was the director of the orphanage that had once taken in
Eleanor.
I said coldly: “Eleanor, do you remember this person? Do you still have any memory of the orphanage where you lived as a child? According to my investigation, this well–run orphanage was suddenly sold three years ago, and the director took a large sum of money and went abroad.”
Eleanor’s face suddenly turned pale.
I took the documents my bodyguard handed me, which included Athena’s daily medication records and the paternity test results between Eleanor and me.
I continued: “Because you’re not an orphan my father adopted at all, but his illegitimate daughter. You were afraid this would be exposed, so you sent away everyone who knew the truth. To get the Morris family fortune, you even switched my mother’s medication to illegal hormone drugs.”
The people around were shocked and kept discussing among themselves.

Eleanor panicked, tears instantly falling: “Natalie, you just lost to me in writing congratulatory messages. How can you slander me like this? If you care so much about it, I can admit that I plagiarized from you. I won’t marry Christopher either – I’ll give him back to you.”
Christopher immediately became anxious and hurriedly grabbed Eleanor as she tried to leave: “Eleanor, I believe you. Natalie must be slandering you.”
Then he looked at Julian: “Mr. White, Natalie is causing such a scene at your birthday banquet. Please throw her out. Eleanor is so kind – how could she possibly do those things?”
But the next second, Julian crumpled up the congratulatory message Eleanor had written and threw it forcefully on the ground.
“Kind? Take a good look at what she wrote. I’m really worried that congratulatory messages written by someone like this will affect my lifespan. She’s been talking nonsense the whole time without a single word of truth. What makes you think I should believe her?” Julian said angrily.
