Christopher was completely stunned, unable to understand why Julian had suddenly turned hostile when everything seemed fine just moments before.
He quickly picked up the crumpled greeting card from the floor, carefully examining the handwriting on it.
But no matter how hard he looked, he couldn’t see anything Wrong with it.
Julian frowned as Waylon, standing beside him, snatched the greeting card and passed it around for everyone present to see.
However, each person who looked at it appeared confused.
“What’s wrong with this?” one man asked.
A woman said, “I don’t see anything inappropriate. This is a wonderful blessing for Sir White.”
Seeing so many people taking her side, Eleanor instantly became confident.
She looked at Julian, her voice full of grievance: “Sir White, I can overlook Natalie’s false accusations against me. But these words and this message were indeed conceived and written by me. I carefully considered every single word. What exactly is wrong with it?”

Seeing Julian’s darkened expression, I kindly reminded her: “Sir White isn’t questioning the content of the message, but rather when you conceived and wrote it.”
Eleanor frowned, glaring at me viciously before saying to Julian: “Sir White, I came up with this message just now, and everyone here witnessed me writing it.”
Julian narrowed his eyes and pressed further: “Are you certain you conceived it just now?”
Eleanor didn’t understand why he was fixated on this matter, but she nodded nonetheless: “Yes.”
Julian let out a cold snort.
At that moment, Waylon brought out a well–preserved but slightly yellowed piece of paper from the study.
Julian threw the paper directly at Eleanor’s face: “You claim you conceived this message just now? But your message is identical to one I received five years ago on my seventieth birthday. Ms. Eleanor Morris, are you going to tell me that you also wrote that Christmas message?”
Eleanor hurriedly picked up the paper. After seeing the handwriting clearly, her face gradually turned pale, as she immediately recognized my handwriting.

She opened her mouth but couldn’t find any words of defense, collapsing directly onto the floor.
Christopher couldn’t see the writing on the paper clearly and, thinking Eleanor was simply frightened, immediately stepped forward to shield her.
He said: “Sir White, greeting messages of this type inevitably have similarities. Given Eleanor’s character, she would never plagiarize.‘
”
Julian, being a man of high moral character, had no respect for someone like Christopher who was unfaithful in relationships.
He glanced at Christopher with disgust, making no effort to hide his attitude: “I’ve lived for 75 years, and this is the first time I’ve encountered such a fool. The true daughter of the Morris family was willing to marry you and even told all of Washington that she would marry no one but you. Yet for the sake of an adopted daughter or more accurately, an illegitimate daughter–you actually abandoned her.”
Julian was so angry that he began coughing continuously.
Hearing his words, I was stunned. Waylon continued where Julian left off: “Mr. Edwards, you may not know this, but five years ago, this very message was sent by the Morris family, so it absolutely cannot be a coincidence.
“Anyone familiar with Ms. Morris who looks at this message

would surely recognize it as Ms. Morris’s handwriting. Sir White was very fond of this message and has kept it all these years without showing it to others.”
Julian snorted coldly, looking at Christopher and saying: “You might want to think about who in the Morris family could have plagiarized this message.”
At that moment, Christopher finally understood.
He looked at Eleanor in disbelief, his voice trembling slightly: “Eleanor, did you really plagiarize Natalie’s message?”
