MARRIED BILLIONAIRE 8

MARRIED BILLIONAIRE 8

Chapter 8

When I was 18, I met Damien, who insisted on having my mother as his piano teacher.

Our lives began to improve from that time.

Due to the pressure from my father’s betrayal and the burden of our financial difficulties, my mother became very ill.

Damien didn’t hesitate to take care of us, even bringing in top medical teams from abroad to develop special medication for my

mother.

For a long time, I kept my love for Damien hidden in my heart, not daring to accept his feelings.

He pursued me for three whole years until I finally softened and agreed.

The moment I said “yes,” he lifted me up and spun me around excitedly…

“Knock knock!”

The knocking interrupted my thoughts.

The makeup artist entered, “Miss Elara, it’s time to change into your wedding dress.”

The moment I put it on, a butterfly gently landed on my shoulder.

I blinked, holding back tears, “Mom? Is that you?”

Thorne appeared behind me and gently took my hand, “Maybe she’s here to bless us.”

Then he softly said to the butterfly, “Don’t worry, Mom, I’ll take good care of Elara.”

After Thorne spoke, the butterfly circled around us several times before flying out the window.

My eyes blurred with tears as I watched the butterfly fly farther away. Thorne gently patted my shoulder.

“You’re crying so sadly that your makeup is ruined-you look like a little cat. Let the makeup artist touch you up. The guests have almost all arrived.”

My voice trembled, “Did he come?”

Thorne’s face darkened as he nodded.

“Elara.”

He hesitated to speak.

I interrupted him.

“Thorne, I need to get my revenge myself.”

He smiled, relieved.

“I know. I’m just worried you’ll hurt yourself.”

The moment I appeared on Thorne’s arm, Damien suddenly stood up from his seat in the guest area.

“Elara! How is it you?”

Chapter 8

He rushed toward me, trying to grab my hand.

“You’re my wife. How can you marry someone else? Did he force you to do this? Come with me!”

I laughed lightly, withdrawing my hand from his.

“Mr. Jackson, long time no see.”

Damien’s eyes widened, “What did you call me?”

I smiled and repeated, “Mr. Jackson.”

Before he could speak, I mocked, “Mr. Jackson, you just got married and are juggling two women, yet you found time to attend

Thorne’s and my wedding. I’m honored.”

Thorne stepped protectively in front of me, his voice calm and firm.

“Please step aside, Mr. Jackson. Our wedding ceremony is about to begin.”

Thorne’s bodyguards immediately rushed in to escort Damien back.

Damien kept looking at me, “Elara! Elara, we only had a fake divorce. How can you marry someone else?”

I sneered, “Didn’t you sign the divorce papers yourself, Damien?”

“I’m sure you received the divorce certificate. There’s nothing between us anymore. If there is anything, it’s an enemy relationship.”

“Damien, don’t be so arrogant. Just because of you, I can’t marry anyone else?”

Damien struggled against the bodyguards, trying to rush onto the stage.

Just then, Damien’s parents suddenly appeared and stopped him, “Damien, you can’t cause trouble. This is the Black family’s wedding. Whatever the problem is, wait until it’s over.”

“We cannot offend the Black family.”

So Damien was forced to watch as I said “I do” to Thorne.

Watch as I placed the ring on Thorne’s finger.

Watch as Thorne and I kissed under the lights.

His eyes turned red with frustration and disbelief.

At that moment, I only felt satisfaction.

However-this was far from enough.

After the wedding, Thorne prepared a six-month honeymoon trip for me.

I was somewhat helpless-others usually take a month, but he arranged six months.

Thorne smiled, “I just want to give you time to relax. You always said you wanted to travel-now is our chance.”

Tears welled up in my eyes.
