People would go to great lengths for money, and the others, who had originally gathered for profit, now saw that Hazel was able to
maximize the benefits of their shares. Naturally, they would stand by her side.
Except for those from Jonah’s circle, who hadn’t spoken up, everyone else agreed that Hazel should remain CEO.
The few who stayed silent-Hazel merely cast a glance at them, and they immediately nodded in agreement.
Only Jonah, his face pale, brought up the online scandals.
“Hazel, we have no complaints about your abilities at work, but what’s going on with those things online? It’s already seriously
affecting the company’s operations.”
Recently, Queen Corp hadn’t had any new projects, just old ones, so the company wasn’t actually impacted by the issue.
The stock market had only seen some minor fluctuations, all within a normal range.
But in Jonah’s words, it had become a huge problem-he always knew how to exaggerate.
“Vice President, in the company, I’d prefer we stick to more formal titles, and not bring up personal matters. What do you think?”
Jonah tightened his lips. He found it difficult to address Hazel as ‘President Queen,’ but with the look she gave him, he had no
other choice.
“President Queen, you’re right. But what about the online issue?”
“I’ll handle it. Since I’m in this position, I’ll pay closer attention to the company’s matters than you would.”
“To everyone still in this meeting, as long as you don’t create trouble for me, I promise you that by the end of next year, your
bonuses will be at least double what they are this year.”
She paused for a moment before continuing, “But if any of you act ungrateful, or fail to respect me as the CEO, then you’ll end up like Mr. Miles. Once you’re in this position, you must have your own sense of balance. Don’t just listen to whatever others say.”
Her words, sharp yet calm, turned everyone’s faces pale.
It made them realize that the era of Jonah was over.
After the meeting ended, Hazel returned to her office and began monitoring the direction of public opinion online.
It was clear that people were criticizing her. Both her own reputation and that of Queen Corp were being mentioned more and
more often online.
The rising buzz also included news about Damon and Delilah’s upcoming wedding.
By noon, when Agatha saw the video online, she quickly had the driver take her to Price Mansion.

As soon as she entered, she asked about Delilah’s condition. “How is Delilah? Is she okay?”
The living room was empty except for the servants, and a bad premonition rose in Agatha’s heart.
“Madam, Miss Hasani has been feeling unwell. After the doctor checked on her last night, she’s been resting upstairs. We sent food up to her today, but she didn’t eat. She said she had no appetite.”
“No appetite? She’s carrying our Price family’s grandchild, how can she have no appetite?! Is the baby okay?”
For Delilah and the child, Agatha had been very concerned, even going so far as to have a family doctor stay at Price Mansion.
She quickly asked a servant to call the family doctor, while she herself went upstairs to check on Delilah.
In the guest room, Delilah looked weak as she lay on the bed, her lips pale, a thin layer of cold sweat on her forehead.
Seeing her condition, Agatha grew anxious and quickly called for the family doctor. “Make sure you take good care of Delilah! Why
does she look so bad? If anything happens to our grandchild, I won’t let this go!”
Before the doctor could respond, Delilah reached out and grabbed Agatha’s hand.
“Aunt, it’s not the doctor’s fault. It’s my own fault for running around. If it weren’t for what happened yesterday… Never mind,
it’s nothing. Thankfully, the baby’s fine. The doctor said I just need to rest more.”
She started to speak but then stopped, as though unaware of the online rumors, trying to protect Hazel.
Seeing her like this, Agatha grew even angrier. “Even in your condition, you’re still thinking of that Hazel? The news about her
hurting you has spread everywhere online! I came here as soon as I saw that video.”
“Thankfully, my precious grandson is fine. But if anything were to happen, our Price family will never let her off!”
In fact, after Delilah came back yesterday, she had been perfectly fine. The reason she was like this now was because, after
returning, she had taken a cold shower. Her health hadn’t been great before her pregnancy-she often caught colds-and after
the cold shower, just a few hours later, she began to develop a slight fever.
The doctor had prescribed some mild medicine to avoid harming the baby, but she refused to take it, insisting she wanted to
protect the baby on her own. As a result, her condition worsened.
“Madam, Miss Hasani has caught a bit of a cold. She’s worried that taking medicine while pregnant might harm the baby, so she
hasn’t taken anything. That’s why her condition has worsened.”
“Not taking medicine is the right choice. After all, they say pregnant women shouldn’t take those random medications. She’s
toughing it out on her own.”
Agatha was more agitated than both the doctor and Delilah about the medication. After all, this was their Price family’s first grandson, and nothing could affect the baby.
But Delilah’s weak condition wasn’t good either, as the mother’s health could affect the child.
After some thought, Agatha spoke up. “How about this? You come stay at the old mansion with me. I’ll find some Herbalist to help
