Dump His Dying 53

Dump His Dying 53

Chapter 15

The onlookers began to chant enthusiastically.

“Say yes! Say yes!”

Roman’s eyes were red-rimmed, his expression intense as he stared up at Hazel.

“Hazel, I finally found you. I’m so sorry-I know I was wrong. Every day without you has been a living hell. Please forgive a d give me another chance. Can we start over?”

Hazel frowned, stepping back with visible disgust, as if afraid of any association with him.

“Roman Winters, we’re already divorced. Stop harassing me.”

With that, she turned to leave.

But Roman lunged forward, pulling her into his arms and holding her tightly against him. At that moment, his heart finally felt some measure of peace.

“Don’t go. I really missed you so much. I’ll do anything if you’ll forgive me!”

By the end, Roman’s voice had grown hoarse, tears streaming down his face. But he failed to notice Hazel’s increasingly sickened expression.

Finally, unable to bear it any longer, she shoved him away forcefully and crouched by the roadside, vomiting everything the’d eaten

Just having Roman near her triggered memories of the tattoo parlor and the video scenes-it was utterly revolting…

Roman’s face turned ashen, his fingers trembling.

“Hazel, what’s wrong? Are you feeling sick? Let me take you to the hospital…”

He reached for her, but she dodged his touch.

Hazel fought down her nausea,

“Don’t touch me, Roman. You’re filthy.”

Those quietly spoken words hit Roman like a sledgehammer to the heart.

“Please,” he begged, his voice quivering. “Don’t do this to me. I’ve only ever loved you. I just made a terrible mistake. I’m clean now. I swear I’ll never touch anyone else again. Please don’t be so cruel. Give me one chance to make things right?”

Hazel couldn’t help but laugh bitterly.

“I’m being cruel? Roman Winters, you abandoned me on the roadside after a car accident for another woman. You repeatedly slept with her behind my back. You even left me to die in a burning building…”

“Roman Winters, if this is what you call loving me, it’s absolutely disgusting.”

Recalling these memories, she trembled with anger, her nails digging into her palms.

Just then, Hazel felt warmth on her shoulders. Turning, she saw Dominic draping his jacket over her

“It’s getting windy,” he explained casually “Don’t catch cold.”

Chapter 15

Hazel felt a warmth in her heart and relaxed slightly, giving him a genuine smile.

Watching their interaction, Roman felt a stabbing pain in his chest, as if a knife were slowly carving out his heart.

He and Hazel had known each other for over a decade-he understood her better than anyone. Though she appeared cordial to everyone on the surface, she was inherently a person who maintained strong emotional boundaries.

Only those truly accepted by her were allowed into her personal space.

It had taken him years to earn Hazel’s trust.

But now Dominic had clearly been accepted by her too…
