Chloe: “5”
“Find a bunch of wooden–faced, no–talent pretty boys, a screenwriter who writes scripts with their feet, then rope in a clueless director with no aesthetic sense, and find a few trashy investors. Perfect! It’ll be a widely panned movie in minutes, lose every penny, and I won’t get any dividends. I’ll just be crying into the toilet!”
Chloe gave me a thumbs–up. “Your thought process is truly unique.”
No sooner said than done.
I immediately had Chloe start contacting people.

Coincidentally, there was a director recently looking for investors for a movie.
I knew this director. I’d seen his movies.
To describe his films in one sentence: It was so bad, even my dog would walk out.
After watching his movie in the cinema, I came out and slapped myself twice. Wouldn’t the money for that ticket have been better spent on some takeout?
I grinned. “Quick, set up a meeting. I want to see him.”
The next day, we met at a villa.
I rented the villa.
Seeing my nouveau riche appearance, the director smiled obsequiously. “Are you really going to invest in my movie?”
“Of course. But I have one requirement: you must do your absolute best to make a good movie, understood?”
Only if he did his absolute best, would he manage to produce a uniquely awful film.
“How much are you investing?”
“Four hundred million. Is that enough?”
The director collapsed straight onto the floor.
With a terrible director secured, next up were the screenwriter and actors.
I insisted on personally selecting the actors and screenwriter.
The director nodded without a word.
On the day of the movie’s protagonist auditions, I looked at the parade of pretty boys, my eyes practically glazing over. “Is this really something I get to see without spending my own

money?”
100%
Chloe, standing beside me, scoffed. “You’ve already spent four hundred million, darling.”
One by one, the pretty boys showcased their various talents and acting skills.
In the end, I chose a male celebrity with a truly indescribable face, an incredibly greasy
demeanor, and questionable acting skills.
The others were not happy. A few even blocked the exit, demanding an explanation.
“He’s so ugly, why did you pick him?”
“His acting is as stiff as a robot’s! Boss, are you blind?”
“And he’s so greasy, and his public image is terrible. You’re actually hiring him?”
I looked at the dissenting voices below, smiling. “You really think that?”
Everyone nodded in unison.
I snapped my fingers. “That means I chose correctly.”
With the male lead decided, it was time for the female lead.
Based on my years of watching dramas, the success of a movie or TV series is directly
linked to the chemistry between the male and female leads.
Strong on–screen chemistry can make a movie rocket to success.
Conversely, well, you know.
The female lead I chose, standing next to the male lead, would make people ask, “Did these two kill each other’s parents in a past life?”
The director looked worried after I finalized the cast. “I feel like these two…”
“Are fantastic, aren’t they?” I said.

Under the pressure of money, the director reluctantly nodded. “You’re absolutely right.”
I then finalized the screenwriter.
This screenwriter had three major strengths:
Character development was like garbage, plotlines were like vomit, and dialogue was like a bad joke.
Now, the three key elements for a rotten movie were complete.
Ready to start filming anytime.
A four–hundred–million–dollar movie was considered a huge production. Counting filming time, post–production, review, and release, it would take at least a year and a half.
That money would essentially be thrown into the ocean.
When Damon found out, he came to my rented villa that very night and dragged me out of
bed.
Then, he grabbed my shoulders and started shaking me.
“Riley Morgan, are you an idiot? A movie investment takes a year and a half! Didn’t I tell you to spend half a billion within a month?”
Looking at my boss’s furious face, I stammered, “B–b–boss, didn’t you say I could do
anything as long as it didn’t generate personal assets?”
“You violated the rules.”
Damon let go of me, looking utterly disappointed. “I thought I could count on you.”
No, wait, what was going on?
“Riley Morgan, because of you, I might lose my eligibility to inherit the company.”
He said each word distinctly.
