Dickson arrived shortly after. He had just returned from a training program overseas. He’d first seen the news of Johnathan’s funeral on TV- it had scared him half to death. He’d rushed back on the next available flight.
“Sierra, what the hell happened with you and Johnathan?”
Dickson asked anxiously.
Sierra briefly explained the fake–death setup Johnathan had used. Dickson listened, stunned. This whole thing had been that intense?
And he hadn’t known a thing!
No wonder Sierra had called him before, warning him to be careful. He hadn’t realized things were that dangerous.

Hearing that, Dickson finally relaxed.
