A few days later, I went to a party and saw
Simon and Brianna walk in.
Looks like Simon had made his move.
The other three showed up soon after.
The party guests kept staring at me and
Brianna.
Preston walked up to Simon and huffed. “You
got her this time. But Brianna will be mine
next.”
Brianna blushed. “Preston, don’t say that.”
Brent was standing nearby, watching her
intently.
Finnegan held a glass of wine, smirking.
They were all fighting for her.
Everyone watched me with a mixture of pity
and amusement.
I chatted with a guy from the Zhao family for
a while.
Brianna came up to me, all innocent, but with
a challenging smile.
“Sugar Plum, long time no see.”
I raised an eyebrow.
The female lead and female lead are face to
face!

She’s smiling so bright! She’s spoiled!
She looks so elegant!
“Everyone says I look like you. That I’m your
replacement. It’s making me insecure,”
Brianna said.
She smiled smugly. “But Preston says that I’m
not a replacement. When you came back, it
didn’t change anything.”
I looked at her. “Who do you like the most?”
She was surprised. Then she smiled again, all
shy. “They’re all so nice to me. It’s so
confusing. Have you ever felt that way?”
I shook my head.
“Preston defended me and yelled at you in
front of everyone. I was so touched.”
“I took Brent to that noodle shop near my
school. Everyone stared at him because he
was so handsome. They were so jealous. He
took me to a small restaurant!”
“Simon picked out this dress. It’s the most
expensive brand that was showed here. The
other ladies are so jealous of me.”
“Finnegan’s special too.”
She was getting arrogant. “So it’s hard to
choose. They’re all so good to me.”
I nodded.
“Maybe I should say you look like me.”
She said sadly, “I thought you were gonna do
something. But you’re with the Zhao guy.”
She really is something!
Is it just me, or is the female lead a bit fake?
What? The female lead can be however she
is! We like her!
I sighed. “You should be more careful.”
Brianna froze, about to say something.
Then, the chandelier fell from the ceiling, right
where we were standing.
Someone pulled me away.
The chandelier crashed down, hitting Brianna
in the head.
