Vivienne replied, “You’re the one who should apologize to me in the first place.”
Leonard pointed to the racecourse nearby. “Since we both want apologies, why don’t we make a bet? We’ll bet on a horse race. If you win, I’ll apologize to you however you want me to, but if I win…”
His eyes gleamed with malice as he continued, “I want you to strip naked and crawl around the tracks.”
“Betting on a horse race is based on luck. That’s too boring.” she replied flatly. “I prefer to rely on my skills. Why don’t we compete in mounted archery instead?” The second she finished her sentence, the crowd erupted in gasps of disbelief.
“Oh my God! What have I just heard? I can’t believe she wants to compete in mounted archery against Mr. Hutz.”
“Everyone knows Mr. Hutz is a famous horse archer in our social circle. He even won first place in an amateur tournament.”
“Mounted archery is so much harder than horseback riding. You have to focus on riding your horse while aiming your arrow at the target.
“She might have had a chance of winning a horse race. I mean, she could just stab the horse’s butt when she’s about to lose. Who knows, a miracle might happen, and she ends up winning.”
“You’re right. However, there aren’t any miracles that could save her in mounted archery.”
Although Leonard was no different from those idle rich heirs who loved to laze around, he loved horses. That included activities like betting on horses, horse racing, mounted archery, and anything related to horses.
Despite always looking unserious about anything, he was extremely talented at riding horses.
Rumor had it that a coach from a professional club had once tried to recruit him into becoming a professional.
However, after being spoiled and raised with a silver spoon, Leonard wasn’t willing to endure the gruelling training process and ended up rejecting the offer. The fact that Vivienne had proposed competing with Leonard in a mounted archery competition was no different than waving a gun before a police officer. Leonard glanced at Vivienne with disdain. “Vivienne, don’t blame me for not reminding you, you. You can still back out now if you want.”

“I won’t go back on my words. However, I also hope that you’ll

to stay true to your words like a proper man.”
Leonard’s expression darkened, and he let out an angry laugh. “Fine. Since you’re so eager to meet your end, don’t blame me for being cruel.”
“Vivienne!” Upon seeing her completely ignoring him and accepting Leonard’s bet, Sebastian’s expression turned extremely cold.
Vivienne merely glanced at him indifferently before prying his finger off her wrist.
P scene?”
Sebastian’s expression was ice cold as he asked, “How much longer are you going to continue making
“Making a scene?”
Melanie whispered quietly, “Ms. Moore, I think you should just swallow your anger. If you end up losing, Sebastian will be the one who has to clean your mess.” Vivienne saw right through Melanie’s little plot and gave a mocking smile.

“This is my business, so I’ll handle it myself. I’m an adult, not an overgrown baby. I don’t need a man worry, I’ll take responsibility for my actions.”
Melanie’s expression tensed, and she was at a loss for words.
Vivienne was no longer bothered to talk to them, so she
d, “I’ll go and change.”
Sebastian was about to follow her when Melanie gently tugged at his sleeve. “Judging from how angry Ms. Moore is, I doubt she’ll listen to anything you say. You should just give her some time to calm down.
“Who knows? Maybe a taste of pain would teach her a lesson. When the time comes, maybe she won’t be so against the idea of apologizing to Mr. Hutz.”
