Chapter 10
On the day Seamus and I got married, Christian and Vanessa arrived at the wedding venue.
This time, they were invited.
Christian had a cast on his leg and was being supported by Vanessa.
Several security guards were standing around him, preventing them from making any other movements.
I looked at Seamus in confusion, but he said, “People won’t cause trouble when they are under your watchful eyes.”
My brother pouted, “Clearly, you are the one who is scheming.”
When we exchanged rings, it was chaos on Christian’s side.
He pushed Vanessa, and Vanessa’s forehead hit the corner of the table, causing her to bleed. However, he didn’t even
glance at her.
Just like at Vanessa’s reception, he made such a big movement that the soup splashed all over me, but he didn’t even turn
his head and chased after him.
Christian wanted to rush over and shout, but he was firmly held back by the security guard, who covered his mouth.
The sound of fireworks resounded, and joy shook the sky, covering up his discontent.
After the wedding ceremony, I walked up to the couple.
This time, I looked at the disheveled Vanessa and calmly asked, “Now that you look again, do we look alike?”
Vanessa looked at me silently, and after a while, she burst into tears and laughter.
“What does it matter if it’s similar or not, he has never loved any of us.”
Christian glared at her fiercely and said, “You’re talking nonsense. I loved you before, but that was in the past. Now, the
person I love the most is Renee.”
“It was you who shouldn’t have come back, it was you who ruined everything, and it was you who drove a wedge between
me and Renee.”
I said, “Christian, stop fooling yourself, I have already been in your study.”
Christian stared with wide eyes, slumped on the ground in despair, unable to utter another word.
Seamus and I left together. We hadn’t walked a few steps when he mischievously teased me, “Hurry up, people are waiting to celebrate the wedding night.”
I grabbed his arm, but he held onto my hand and leaned in to kiss me.
As for Christian, it is said that he insisted on blaming all the mistakes on Vanessa and retaliated against her in various
ways.

Vanessa was tormented by him to the point where she lost her job several times. Unable to bear the hardship any longer,
she drove her car and hit him.
The leg that was not fully healed from the previous fracture was directly paralyzed at a high level this time.
The Raymond family did not let Vanessa go, and Vanessa had long lost hope in life. She jumped from the rooftop of the
Raymond Group.
The Raymond Group lost an heir, got involved in a wrongful death lawsuit, and saw its stock price plummet. Before long, it was pushed into bankruptcy by other companies.
Seamus also didn’t know who he had called to save Christian’s life.
Seeing my confusion, he explained, “I have always kept my word. When I said that he would see you happy for the rest of your life, it meant he couldn’t die early.”
I was lost for words.
My brother is right, this person is a hypocrite.
But I believed that he would give me stable happiness and tranquility.
