As the future wife of the president of the Price Group, and a future member of the Price family,
Edward naturally wanted to learn about his fiancée’s personality in advance, to avoid any unnecessary misunderstandings when they interacted in the future.
Sarah, however, was unaware of this.
Right now, she was standing in front of rows of dresses, hesitating and choosing between them.
Although Sarah’s father had already arranged a fiancé for her, since her arrival in England, she had yet to meet him face to face.
She had spent a long time resting due to her poor health after arriving.
Although during this time, her fiancé had sent gifts and visited her through his representatives, this was the first time they were truly meeting in person.
Although Sarah had seen photos of him, she knew nothing about his personality.
So she placed great importance on their first date, afraid that she might make some mistakes in terms of etiquette.
In the end, to be safe, Sarah chose a strapless, sleeveless A–line knee–length dress that exposed her shoulders.
The color was a soft, elegant pink, showcasing her calm and gentle temperament.
Her long hair, which reached her waist, was neatly tied up, and she finished the look with a simple jade hairpin.
When Sarah walked through the door that had been opened by the servant, she immediately spotted the man who stood by the floor–to–ceiling windows of the castle, rising to greet her.
If Daniel was like the cold ice of an abyss, then Edward was like the warm sun of spring.
Before her date, Sarah had done some background research on the Price family.
After reviewing the information published by the Price family, Sarah’s impression of them could only be summed up in one word–chaotic.
But today, Sarah realized that her understanding had been shallow.
After Sarah took her seat, Edward took the initiative to introduce himself.
As he spoke, he handed her some relevant documents, where all the answers to the questions she cared about were detailed.
During the conversation, Edward also frequently extended gestures of care towards her–pouring tea, handing her tissues.

The entire process made Sarah feel incredibly relaxed.
She carefully observed the man in front of her and suddenly thought that marrying someone like him would be a good choice.
At the end of the date, Edward thoughtfully offered to take her home.
Perhaps too focused on chatting with the man beside her, Sarah didn’t notice a black Maybach hiding in the bushes across from the Miller family estate.
Inside the pitch–black car, a pair of deep eyes were fixed on the Maserati that Sarah was riding in.
Three months later, Daniel met Sarah once again.
It had taken him a whole week to accept the truth about everything, ever since he found out.
The woman he had despised, Sarah, had been framed.
The one he loved deeply, Emily, was the real murderer.
At first, Daniel couldn’t accept this at all.
He couldn’t come to terms with the fact that the girl he had known since childhood, the one everyone adored, the perfect white moonlight, had been so ruthless behind his back!
The day Emily miscarried and was hospitalized, she knelt beside him, crying uncontrollably.
With irrefutable evidence, Emily no longer dared to find excuses to defend herself.
All she could do was continuously tell him that she had done it because she loved him so much.
As for the other women who had pursued Daniel and been harmed by her–she claimed it was all because of the
same reason.
She couldn’t allow her lover to be eyed by anyone else, to be desired by anyone else.
Thus, Emily had to take matters into her own hands to make them disappear.
Malicious.
That was the only word Daniel could think of after Emily finished speaking.
