Unable to focus on the unfamiliar emotion in his chest, Daniel immediately flew to England, to the Miller family desperate to see Sarah.
He couldn’t wait to personally apologize to her, hoping she would forgive him for his past mistakes.
However, after half a month of being in England, Daniel hadn’t even been able to step foot inside the Miller family’s
estate.
The servants looked at him with eyes full of disdain, and even Daniel, as clueless as he was, could tell the reason.
Feeling helpless, he had no choice but to wait outside.
Finally, today, he saw Sarah.
His heart skipped a beat with joy as he rushed to get out of the car, about to call out her name when, in the next instant, he froze in place!
As Sarah stepped out of the car, a tall figure followed closely behind and embraced her intimately!
“Bang!”
The gift in Daniel’s hand fell to the ground, and a surge of inexplicable anger rose in his chest.
“Sarah!”
Hearing her name, Sarah instantly froze, a deep–seated terror creeping up from the soles of her feet to every inch of her body.
This voice was far too familiar.
Every time she had hurt Daniel’s “white moonlight” in the past, he would call out her full name in that same tone.
Noticing Sarah’s trembling in his arms, Edward’s eyes flashed with coldness.
He quickly comforted her, patting her back and urging her back into the car.
Before closing the door, he squeezed her hand and whispered, “Don’t worry, I’ve got this.”
The moment the car door slammed shut, Edward’s coldness was no longer concealed.
He spun around and, without hesitation, threw a punch directly at Daniel’s face!
In the pouring rain, Edward accepted an umbrella from the Miller family’s butler, looking down with an indifferent gaze at the man lying on the ground, unmoving.
His expression was emotionless, like a silent challenge.

Daniel’s heart ached painfully as he lay there, but the man before him said nothing.
Not even a glance was wasted on him.
As lightning split the sky, Edward closed the umbrella and climbed into the car.
Finally, the Maserati slowly drove through the grand gates of The Miller family’s estate.
“Bang!”
The massive iron gates slammed shut, sealing off the two worlds completely.
As for Daniel’s arrival, Sarah had no intention of thinking too much about it.
Since the moment she had completely given up on him, his presence no longer mattered to her.
All she wanted now was to focus on living a good life.
Edward felt the same. Perhaps it was the possessiveness of a man, but he didn’t want his fiancée to spare any
attention on another man.
So, they both silently agreed not to mention what had just occurred.
At the dinner table, Edward, now dressed appropriately, sat beside Sarah.
Across from them, Sarah’s father was discussing the wedding date.
As one of the main players in this conversation, Sarah had no objections.
She merely sat quietly, eating her meal while listening to their talk.
Occasionally, she would offer a small opinion.
Half of Edward’s attention was focused on the conversation with Sarah’s father, and the other half was on Sarah.
He occasionally peeled shrimp for her or used a napkin to wipe her fingers.
Sarah’s ears turned slightly red.

To reciprocate, she filled a bowl of soup for Edward and gently warned, “Be careful, it’s hot.”
As she handed it to him, she whispered the reminder.
Edward was momentarily taken aback, before raising an eyebrow and smiling gently. “Alright.”
