Chapter 11
The USB drive was brought to the stage. Dominic walked with heavy steps, not knowing what Winter had put on it.
His fingers trembled slightly as he plugged the drive into the computer.
The guests waited expectantly, assuming they were about to see a sweet wedding video.
But in the next second, Aurelia’s voice blasted through the banquet hall.
“Stop comparing me to Winter Bailey. She’s not even in my league!”
“Anyway, Dominic has already promised me that if I get hurt again, he’ll make her donate blood to me. If she doesn’t know what’s good for her and still tries to seduce Dominic, I’ll just get a little ‘injured‘ now and then, drain all her blood until she’s just a pile of ashes. That’ll teach her!”
As the voice rang out, Dominic froze, his mind going blank.
This voice was definitely Aurelia’s, but it didn’t sound like her. She had always seemed so pure, never showing such a scheming, vicious side in front of him.
Aurelia’s cold, malicious voice continued to echo through the hall. Her face suddenly turned ugly,
her entire body rigid.
“Turn it off! Turn it off now!”
Aurelia rushed onto the stage to stop the recording, but this action only raised Dominic’s suspicions.
“Hold her back,” he commanded coldly. Several security guards immediately surrounded her.
Dominic listened with a frozen expression to Aurelia and her friends mocking and ridiculing Winter. A strange mix of anger and unexpected pity surged in his heart.
His fingers twisted tightly together, his body trembling slightly. He seemed to be struggling to maintain his composure while unable to hide his shock.
But the recording didn’t stop.
“Heartless? There’s nothing wrong with aiming higher! Can you compare to Dominic Thorne? He’s

the heir to Thorne Group, while you’re just a nobody, a poor boy with nothing to offer! If I stayed with you, what would we have? A bunch of starving kids? If you love me, you should let me go, let me live the life I want!”
This statement caused an uproar among the guests. The next moment, a strange man’s voice appeared.
“Let you go? Who’s going to let me go! Does Dominic know you’re only with him to climb the social ladder? Does he know that during these years together, you’ve been on and off with me? Does he know that last night, we were still in bed together?!”
Dominic’s face turned ghastly. He yanked the USB drive out and smashed it to the ground, then turned to glare furiously at Aurelia.
“Aurelia Reed, explain yourself,” he demanded, suppressing his rage as he slammed his fist on the table.
The guests observed the soon–to–be–married couple on stage like spectators at a drama, whispering among themselves.
“No… Dominic, this must be fake, it’s Winter Bailey! It has to be her! She’s framing me…” Aurelia panicked, reaching for Dominic’s clothes, but he violently pushed her away, looking down at her with contempt.
“Is that so?” Mrs. Thorne quickly caught on, pointing at Aurelia as she confronted her son: “I told you she was no good, but you insisted on being with her. Are you happy now that you’ve driven that sweet Winter away?”
Hearing Winter’s name, Aurelia seemed to go mad. “Who is she to talk? Didn’t you love me, Dominic Thorne? Have you forgotten how she bullied me? This must be her doing again…”
“Aurelia!”
The banquet hall doors were kicked open with a bang, drawing everyone’s attention. Chase, dressed in a white suit and carrying a large bouquet of red roses, rushed onto the stage and grabbed the still–dazed Aurelia.
“Come with me, Aurelia, I know you don’t really love him–Ow! You hit me?”
Aurelia trembled with rage, not understanding why Chase had suddenly appeared.
To document their grand wedding, Aurelia had even invited media for a live broadcast. Now, the

opportunistic reporters, clearly sensing a viral story, pointed their cameras at the unfolding drama.
Aurelia desperately shook off Chase’s hand. “Dominic, I can explain. Trust me, I don’t even know this guy…” She stuttered in explanation, but Dominic just stared at her coldly.
“Don’t know me?” Chase laughed as if he’d heard a joke. He threw the roses at Aurelia’s feet. “Fine, you don’t know me? Then let’s talk about last night, shall we? How Ms. Reed treated someone she ‘doesn’t know‘…”
“Enough!” Dominic finally spoke up. “I don’t care what history you two have, but this is my territory. Security, what are you being paid for?”
The guests clearly hadn’t expected such an entertaining drama and watched with interest, curious to see how the Thorne family would handle this situation.
“Madam, Sir, terrible news…” the butler rushed in, showing something on his phone to Mr. and Mrs. Thorne. Mrs. Thorne jumped up, pointing at Aurelia before collapsing from the shock.
The phone showed that #Thorne Family Wedding Drama# had shot to the top of trending topics.
“Call an ambulance, quick!”
The scene descended into chaos.
Aurelia wanted to follow to the hospital, but one sidelong glance from Dominic made her too scared
to move.
Rose petals still scattered on her dress hem, amidst the guests‘ whispers, she knew it’s over.
It’s all Winter Bailey’s fault! All because of Winter Bailey!
She bit her lip in hatred, her animosity toward Winter reaching its peak.
