Dump His Dying 39

Dump His Dying 39

Chapter 1

Hazel Bennett’s husband Roman Winters has an obsessive admirer.

This woman, Naomi Jensen, is nothing special, not particularly attractive either, but she’s been doing all kinds of outrageous things to pressure Roman into getting a divorce.

She’d knelt in the pouring rain for three days and nights just begging for a glimpse of him.

She’d shown up at their wedding party wearing a wedding dress, trying to steal the groom.

She’d even drugged him once, stripped naked, and offered herself to him…

Her lunacy had become the talk of the entire city. Some people had even started betting on how long it would take before Roman finally gave in.

But Hazel hadn’t been particularly concerned. She was wealthy, gorgeous, and had a killer figure. She and Roman had been childhood sweethearts for over a decade and had weathered the toughest times together.

Most importantly, Roman’s mother had been destroyed by his father’s infidelity, so he absolutely loathed people who lacked any sense of shame or dignity.

Until their wedding anniversary, Hazel went to surprise Roman at his office, only to find Naomi Jensen completely naked in his

office.

She was sprawled shamelessly across his executive chair, her fingers toying with a dripping wet fountain pen, moaning suggestively:

“Roman… be gentle…”

Hazel felt like she’d been struck by lightning.

Just then, a familiar voice spoke from behind her.

“Hazel? Why aren’t you coming in? I just finished my meeting.”

Roman walked up and put his arm around her. When he saw what was happening in his office, his pupils contracted with rage. “Naomi Jensen! What the hell you’re doing?!”

Caught in the act, Naomi didn’t show the slightest embarrassment. Instead, her movements became even more provocative.

Security guards came running at the commotion, instinctively moving to enter the office. But Roman quickly shut the door, blocking

everyone’s view.

He surveyed the situation, his eyes finally settling on Hazel. After a moment of hesitation, he spoke reluctantly.

“Hazel, can you go in and make her get dressed? She is a woman, after all… we need to consider her dignity…”

Hearing this, Hazel froze, a flash of surprise crossing her face.

This wasn’t the first time Naomi had pulled something like this.

A year ago, when Roman was on a business trip abroad, she had snuck into his hotel room, stripped naked, and climbed into his bed.

When he woke up and found her, Roman hadn’t shown any concern for her dignity. He’d immediately called security and had her thrown out into the hallway. The incident had created quite a stir online.

But somehow, at some point, his attitude toward Naomi seemed to have changed…

Chapter 1

The sound of the door opening interrupted Hazel’s thoughts.

Naomi had put her clothes back on but was staring at Roman with obsessive intensity.

“Roman, I love you. That fountain pen is my gift to you-let it be my surrogate, keeping you company every day…”

As her words registered, Hazel suddenly flashed back to the scene she’d just witnessed. Her stomach lurched violently, and she bolted to the bathroom, vomiting until she was dizzy.

Several minutes later, Hazel emerged from the bathroom, face deathly pale and steps unsteady. She was about to speak when she witnessed something that chilled her to the bone-

Roman picking up the fountain pen, carefully wrapping it in a handkerchief, and slipping it into his pocket.

Hazel stood frozen, feeling as though she’d plunged into an icy abyss.

She knew better than anyone how much Roman had once despised Naomi-he would throw away every gift she painstakingly prepared and even burn any clothing she’d touched with disgust on his face.

Yet now he was keeping a fountain pen that Naomi had… “used”.

Just as Roman was about to turn around, Hazel instinctively fled, rushing downstairs to catch a taxi home.

Once inside, she went straight to his study and removed a divorce agreement from the safe.

Her finger traced Roman’s signature as memories flooded back.

His father’s affair had devastated Roman. He couldn’t accept that the man he’d idolized since childhood had kept a mistress younger

than himself, even stood by and let his mistress drive his mother to her death.

Roman had spiraled into alcoholism, a fallen golden boy sinking into darkness.

It was Hazel who had stayed by his side, never abandoning him, pulling him out of the darkness and helping him take control of

Winters Enterprises.

So when they got their marriage license, he had personally drafted this agreement-if they divorced, all his personal assets and half the company shares would go to Hazel.

Roman had signed it and handed it to her: “If I ever betray you, then sign this divorce agreement. Don’t give me the chance to hurt

you.”

He had once despised his cheating father so deeply, yet now he was walking the same path.

Hazel had witnessed firsthand how his beautiful, gentle mother had been transformed into a hysterical wreck by a failed marriage.

So she absolutely refused to meet the same fate.

After signing the papers, Hazel took out her phone, retrieved a number from her blocked list, and composed a text.

[I’ll sell you the shares, but the price doubles. I want fifty million.]
