Chapter 52
Natalie looked at Sienna, lips curling into a smirk, her eyes alight with quiet amusement. “It’s me. Disappointed?”
In the three years she’d been married to Jason, Natalie had barely stepped outside Avon Villa. He’d never brought her along to meet friends or attend banquets.
And the Spencers? Once Sienna returned, they’d acted like she was their only daughter, as if Natalie didn’t exist. No surprise, then, that hardly anyone even recognized her face.-
But wasn’t the wife Jason had been searching for all over the world these past three months named Natalie Spencer? So, Amanda was the ex–wife who’d kicked Jason to the curb?
No wonder she came all this way to sabotage the exhibition. This was payback against Sienna, the woman who stole Jason from
her.
The crowd, never one to hold back, exploded in outrage. Someone jabbed a finger at Sienna and shouted, “We almost forgot that you’re the one who broke up a family! How dare you have the nerve to hold a solo exhibition after that?”
“She’s not just a homewrecker. She even used a ghost artist for her work. Disgusting!”
“How did our art world end up with such a scumbag? This is beyond trashy!”
Sienna’s scandal–knowingly being the other woman–was dragged back into the spotlight. Clenching her fists, she trembled with rage.
Her glare locked onto Natalie, eyes burning with murderous intent. “Natalie, I should’ve known it was you. I should’ve fucking
known.”
First, Mossey had made a fool of her on her birthday. Then, she’d been humiliated publicly at Wings of Canvas. And now, at this art exhibition, someone was determined to ruin her completely.
No one in the world hated her as much as Natalie did.
Natalie smiled, but her eyes stayed cold. “You should’ve figured it out sooner. But you couldn’t stand the thought of being beneath me, could you? It’s not that you didn’t know. You just didn’t want to believe Amanda was me.
“Remember this–whatever you fight for, I can take it from you like it’s nothing. You’ll always be under my heel.”
Her eyes curved with amusement, but her stare turned razor–sharp. “Those were your words to me once. Now, I’m just returning the favor.”
Seeing Sienna’s face turn deathly pale gave Natalie a vicious thrill of revenge.

She remembered the last family dinner at the Spencer residence before she left. As she walked past the guest room after leaving Vera’s, the noises coming from inside left no doubt that Sienna and Jason were having an affair.
Natalie had tried to escape, but Sienna wouldn’t let her go without mocking her. “Natalie, I’m taking everything from you- Mom, Dad, Victor, Xavier, and even your precious Jason.
“Remember this–whatever you fight for, I can take it from you like it’s nothing. You’ll always be under my heel.”
Natalie would never forget the humiliation she’d suffered. Every insult, every cruel word–she’d return them all, just as harsh
and merciless.
Sienna finally snapped. Her eyes burned into Natalie with pure hatred before she lunged forward like a woman possessed.
But she never stood a chance. Natalie slapped her hard across the face. Then, before Sienna could react, Natalie cracked her across the other cheek with another stinging blow.
Dazed, Sienna glared at her, seething. “Natalie, I’ll make you pay for this!“.
Natalie’s smirk disappeared. She grabbed Sienna by the collar, yanking her close until their faces were inches apart, and hissed,

“Three years with my corneas, Sienna. I hope they served you well
A spike of panic crossed Sienna’s face. Natalie, familiar yet suddenly terrifying, wrapped her in an icy cloak of dread.
The space between them was razor–thin when Natalie spoke, “You’ll pay what you owe. We’ve got all the time in the world, Sienna.”
With a careless shove, Natalie sent her stumbling back.
