On the way home, Hazel watched the video Eddie had retrieved from the coffee shop. The footage clearly showed Delilah waiting by the window early in the morning, her every move visible even to the reporters outside.
If anyone claimed this wasn’t premeditated, Hazel wouldn’t believe it. If she could get hold of the chat records between Delilah
and those reporters, it would be perfect.
But honestly, Delilah’s petty tricks weren’t worth such an effort. This video alone was enough to ruin her completely.
As the online discussion about Hazel and Delilah reached its peak, the coffee shop video and chat records of Delilah inviting Hazel
to meet were leaked.
Along with that came audio recordings from their meeting, perfectly synchronized with the video.
No one would have guessed that behind Delilah’s pitiful facade in the footage, her words could be so despicable.
It wasn’t just about shattering people’s sense of morality-she spoke with such entitlement. Since when did being a mistress
come with such confidence?
Doing the math, it turned out Delilah was already pregnant with Damon’s child while he was still married to Hazel. While Damon wasn’t exactly a saint, Delilah certainly wasn’t a victim.
Now she had climbed her way up as a mistress and was even flaunting it in front of the ex-wife. Who wouldn’t be infuriated?
The tide of public opinion instantly shifted. Everyone sided with Hazel.
The same people who had cursed Hazel yesterday were now hurling even harsher words at Delilah today.
Price Corp launched a crisis PR campaign, but even that couldn’t suppress the scandal.
When the news first trended, Price Corp had failed to act quickly. Hazel naturally wouldn’t give them a chance to fix it now.
“Let’s go all out, folks! The Prices let our boss take so much heat-it’s time we let them have a taste of their own medicine!”
“Our boss isn’t letting this slide either!”
Eddie, doubling as a keyboard warrior, kept fueling the flames online, cursing Delilah and Damon while rallying his hacker friends. in the group chat to target Price Corp’s tech team.
The group had been itching for a fight ever since they saw the news yesterday. Now that the boss had given them the green light, they went all in.
If someone dared to use dirty tricks against their boss, they’d better be ready to face the consequences.
For an entire day, the internet was relentless. Someone found Delilah’s social media account-everyone flooded it with insults. Then they uncovered her phone number, bombarding her with messages and calls.

When they found out Delilah lived in the Price Old Residence, people even showed up to throw rotten eggs.
Everything about Delilah was dug up and exposed-all thanks to Eddie’s team.

Back in Hazel’s office, Eddie was furiously typing away, growing more excited with every keystroke. Hazel couldn’t help but chime
“That’s enough. Don’t stress her out so much that she loses the baby. And as for Price Corp, don’t do any real damage. After all, it’s a company built by Grandpa Mark. If something happens to it, he’ll definitely feel bad. The day after tomorrow is Delilah and
Damon’s wedding. I’ll take you along to watch the show.”
Hazel had personally received an invitation from Delilah. How could she not attend?
Besides, Grandpa Mark had called her last night, urging her not to take the online chatter to heart.
For his sake, she had to make an appearance.
“Boss, the spot to go with you has already been claimed by Xander. I lost his challenge, so I can’t join you anymore.”
Hazel put down the documents in her hand and looked at Eddie in disbelief. “Xander? He’s coming back to the country?”
“Yeah, tomorrow noon flight,” Eddie replied, his head hung low, looking utterly deflated.
Xander was the only one in their small group whose skills could rival Hazel’s. The two had hit it off immediately, becoming close
friends over the years.
Whenever the two of them got together, the rest of the group didn’t even bother trying to join the conversation. Their discussions
always flew way over everyone else’s heads.
“And Sully is coming back too. She says she’s going to be your assistant and help you rebuild the company.”
Given the current state of the Queen Corp compared to its former glory, ‘rebuild’ wasn’t an exaggeration.
“She also said she’ll help you crush that mistress. Said your skills aren’t sharp enough, and once she’s here, that Delilah-
whatever will take one look at you and run the other way.’
Before her parents’ accident, Hazel had been studying abroad, practically inseparable from Sully. It had been over three years
since they last saw each other.
The last time the three of them met was when they decided to start a company together. Hazel hadn’t asked about its status in
years and had no idea if it was even still standing.
“They couldn’t have given me a heads-up? I could’ve booked a decent restaurant to properly welcome them.”
In fact, even if they weren’t returning tomorrow, Hazel had planned to invite them back for her upcoming recognition banquet.
Three days after Damon and Delilah’s wedding, Omar would officially recognize Hazel as her god-granddaughter. It was a
significant occasion, and Hazel wanted the most important people in her life to attend.
