“Hazel, is this the family that’s been taking over your property and villa?”

Sully looked at Bailey with disgust, as if seeing trash. Jonah, worried that his daughter might get hit again, quickly stepped in front

of Bailey.

“Hazel, who is this woman? Does the Queen Corp just let anyone waltz into public spaces like this?”

Everyone knew that Jonah’s family had been occupying Hazel’s property, but no one had ever dared to say it to their face like Sully

just did.

“You must be the biggest leech in the Queens, Jonah Queen, right? Sorry, but from today onwards, I’m going to be President

Queen’s personal assistant. If you need anything, you can deal with me. President Queen is busy and doesn’t have time to mess

with small fry like you, but I’m not busy. I can entertain you all day.”

Sully spoke with a sweet smile, making threats that left Jonah and Bailey stunned, unable to respond for a while.

After all, Sully wasn’t just dressing up today. Her sharp suit made her look like the president of Queen Corp. Her gold-rimmed

glasses and slick hairstyle gave off a strong sense of authority that made others feel oppressed.

“Alright, Sully, this is my uncle. Let’s be a little polite.”

Hazel said as she sat back down at her desk, noticing that Bailey had made a mess of her things.

“By the way, uncle, why are you here today?”

Jonah, still in shock over the fact that Sully was now Hazel’s personal assistant, had brought Bailey today with the intention of

getting his daughter to sit in that very chair.

With that, he could have control over all of Hazel’s affairs and easily take over Queen Corp. It would be simple to grasp the

company in his hands.

He cleared his throat and looked at Hazel with a serious gaze.

“Hazel, you’re still new to managing the company, and you might not know who to trust. A personal assistant should naturally be

someone you can rely on, like Bailey. We’re family, so we won’t harm you, unlike some people with ulterior motives, who might

stab you in the back one day.”

Jonah subtly looked at Sully. Sully couldn’t help but laugh in anger. This family was so transparent in their intentions-it was as if

they were throwing their plans right at her face.

“Bailey is a graduate of a prestigious university. She’ll surely save you a lot of trouble and help you manage things more easily.”

Bailey had been interning at Queen Corp for a while after graduating, but due to her lack of drive and laziness, she had been causing more trouble than contributing. Even with her father’s position as CEO, she hadn’t been able to make any real impact.

Under pressure from the company’s senior staff, Jonah had no choice but to bring Bailey back home to ‘take care’ of her.

In the past two years, Bailey had done nothing but indulge in eating, drinking, and socializing with her friends. She hadn’t held a

serious job.

Now, they were sending her back to Queen Corp, but she was just going to cause more trouble and contribute nothing.

“Uncle, if I’m not mistaken, Bailey still hasn’t received her university diploma, right? How many years has she extended her

graduation? If she doesn’t pass the exams this year, she’ll probably be expelled, won’t she?”

When Bailey was in high school, Adele was strict with her, so her grades were decent, and she managed to get into a good

university in Vernon.

But after entering university, Bailey became a different person. She cared more about eating, drinking, and playing than her

studies, and her academics naturally suffered.

She failed several courses, and there were even a few instances where she received disciplinary actions. Jonah had to pull a lot of

strings to allow Bailey to stay at school.

However, this only made Bailey feel more invincible. In her eyes, her father could solve any problem. No matter how many

mistakes she made, he would always be there to help her graduate.

Little did she know, when it was time for her to graduate, the school leaders had finally had enough. After she failed five courses,

they notified her of her extended graduation.

Having learned nothing at school, what could she possibly learn after leaving? Bailey’s extension stretched for two years, and it

was only because Jonah had begged and spent a lot of money to secure her a third extension.

“Of course, I’m not mocking her, just reminding you all. Bailey should focus on her studies now. If she’s distracted because of my

help, I won’t take responsibility for that.”

Sully sat across from Hazel, looking at Bailey coldly before laughing outright.

“Someone who hasn’t even graduated yet dares to be the president’s assistant? Do you even know how to manage a company? Can

you drive? Do you know what should be handled by yourself and what needs to go through the president first?”

Her sharp questions left Bailey speechless, making her forget all about the slap just moments ago.

Seeing his daughter insulted, Jonah couldn’t stand it any longer and immediately stepped in front of her.

“Miss, I’ll naturally teach Bailey all these things. No need for you to worry. Now please leave Queen Corp. We don’t need

employees like you who are so arrogant.”

Hazel pulled a stack of documents from her bag and threw them on Jonah’s desk, knowing he’d try to make things difficult for Sully. She had already prepared for this moment.

The documents contained records of Sully’s achievements over the years, the companies she had managed, awards she had won,

scholarships she earned during her university and overseas studies, and even the championship she had won in a design

competition.

The more Jonah looked, the darker his expression became. He hadn’t expected someone like Sully, who looked so delicate, to be so

capable.

Ultimately, it was his bias against beautiful people that had clouded his judgment.

“So, how does this resume look? Does it qualify me to replace Bailey as my assistant? If you can’t tell, we can hold a meeting to

have everyone evaluate.”

Bailey glanced at the content on the resume. Realizing she had no chance of landing the position, she grabbed her bag and quickly

left.

Hazel walked up to Jonah and said, “Uncle, if Bailey wants to be my assistant, that’s fine. After all, I don’t just need one assistant.

But let’s make things clear-she’s here to be my assistant, not my ruler.”

Jonah had almost given up, but when he heard Hazel’s words, he relented.

“Alright, I’ll go back and talk to her. Don’t worry, I’ll make sure to educate her properly before I send her to you.

IT

After sending the father and daughter away, Hazel called for someone to restore the office to its original state and changed the

office’s password lock.

Once she had locked the door and checked for any listening or surveillance devices, she felt secure enough to speak with Sully.

“Sully, this is the current situation at the company. Although I demonstrated my abilities in front of the employees last time, they still trust Jonah more. In this situation, I can’t push forward with many of the plans I’ve set for the company.”

If there were enough time, these issues wouldn’t even be a problem in Hazel’s eyes.

But now, Queen Corp couldn’t hold on for much longer. By the end of the year, if Queen Corp fell out of the top 100 companies in Country A, the resources available would no longer be as favorable as they are now.

People in the business world are all opportunistic. The projects Queen Corp currently has were all negotiated with concessions

from Hazel.

But Queen Corp couldn’t rely on this method forever. It was only slowing down the inevitable bankruptcy.

“When I analyzed Queen Corp’s financial reports yesterday, I realized that if we want to establish authority within the company,

the best approach is to make an example out of someone.”

“I thought the same. I’ve already established my authority on the board using this method, but with such a large company, it’s not

that simple.”

Excluding the employees of the branches, there are over a thousand people working in the headquarters. Establishing authority in front of so many people is far more difficult than doing so in front of a few old men.

“Besides, there are many things I can’t get directly involved in. If I do, it will seem petty and narrow-minded. If I don’t speak up,

they’ll only listen to Jonah. So, I need someone to play the bad cop.”

Sully smiled lightly. “Looks like we’re on the same page.”
