“Actually, if you’re busy, you don’t have to come over. I’m fine here, you can just ask Sully to bring the gift over for me.” Hazel’s tone was half-joking, and it instantly lightened the mood. However, Damon, who had been left standing aside, didn’t look too
happy.
Sully tugged at Hazel’s sleeve, struggling to hold back a laugh.
“Mr. Price, you’re so busy at home, with a pregnant wife too. There’s really no need for you to come all the way here so late.’
The same words were said to Xander with one tone, but when directed at Damon, the tone was completely different.
Damon’s face, which had already been unpleasant, grew darker. Even his fingers, which were holding the envelope, turned white
with tension.

Damon thrust the gift into Hazel’s arms, turned, and walked out of the banquet hall, his back resolute.
Hazel stood frozen, unable to react immediately. She was used to Damon throwing a few sharp words at her before leaving, but
this time, he simply walked out. It was unexpected, to say the least.
Sully took the envelope from Hazel’s arms, opened it, and inside, neatly folded, was a contract. The contract detailed a new project
recently secured by Price Corp, and it was a big one. Many companies were eyeing it, hoping to collaborate with Price Corp.
Previously, it had been rumored that Price Corp was looking for partners for this project. Sully had even looked into it, but she
hadn’t expected that Damon would give the exclusive partnership to Hazel.
“Well, look at that, this scumbag really went all out. This project has so many people interested, and I was even thinking about
asking Xander if we could intercept it, but who knew Damon would just give it to you, making Queen Corp the sole partner.”
Hazel’s expression darkened. She took the contract and confirmed that what Sully said was true. Damon’s signature was already
on it. All she had to do was sign, and the partnership would be finalized.
She quickly ran after him but only saw the tail of his car disappearing down the road.
Sully and Xander followed her, “He left so soon?”
“Yeah, did I say something too harsh just now? After all, there’s the relationship with Grandpa Mark. I guess it wasn’t great to
push him like that,” Hazel muttered.
After all, their marriage had been her choice, and the divorce had been mutual. Even if Damon had cheated, it was because he
never wanted to marry her in the first place. When she thought about it, he hadn’t really done anything wrong. He had come here

Sully comforted her, then led her back into the banquet hall.
The event went on for a long time. Omar took Hazel around, introducing her to almost all the guests. His enthusiastic attitude helped dispel any recent rumors about an unusual relationship between him and Hazel. After all, Omar’s joy didn’t seem like it was being faked.
No one would eagerly introduce people they had questionable connections with.
That night, Hazel stayed over at Omar’s house. It had been such a busy day, and she didn’t want Omar to feel lonely in the evening.
“Hazel, how’s everything going with Queen Corp? Omar Corp has secured a few new projects recently. If you need anything, you can choose a couple of them to bring to Queen Corp.”
When Hazel offered tea to Omar today, he gave her quite a few pieces of jewelry, some luxurious villas, and even large apartments. However, she absolutely could not accept any more projects from Omar Corp.
“Grandpa, don’t worry. I don’t lack anything right now, and with my friends coming to help me, Queen Corp is doing just fine,”
she said, reassuring him.
After thinking for a moment, she added, “Besides, Damon sent over a big project today, and I’ll need to spend some time handling
it.”
Queen Corp’s liquidity was currently quite low, with most of the funds having been absorbed by Jonah. Hazel still needed to figure
out how to raise some funds.
“Well then, if you encounter any problems, just let me know. It’s getting late, so don’t stay up too long. Get some rest,” Omar said
with a smile.
Hazel winked playfully, “Okay, I know.”
As soon as Damon left the banquet, he sent Kin to investigate Xander. When they had investigated Hazel before, they hadn’t found anything useful. Now, knowing her true identity, things were much easier to look into.
Within just two days, Kin gathered all the information about Hazel, including her relationship with Xander. They had met while studying abroad, and Sully had always been with them, so they were not in a romantic relationship.
When Kin reported this, Damon’s mood lightened a little.
“So, they’re old friends. I thought they didn’t look like a couple. But to me, that Xander definitely has feelings for Hazel,” he said, still feeling uneasy.

voice growing less confident as he spoke, worried Damon might blame him.
Sure enough, Damon’s face darkened, and Kin quickly tried to change the subject.
“By the way, Boss, the video you asked me to recover has been retrieved. It’s a bit blurry, though, since the filming location was
far away. I just sent it to your computer.”
Damon had never believed that his younger brother’s death from a bungee jump was just an accident. Over the years, Price Corp had offended quite a few people in the business world. If someone wanted revenge, targeting Demian wasn’t impossible.
After all, such a famous bungee jumping site couldn’t have had an issue just when Demian was there. Plus, Demian had always
been terrified of heights-he definitely wasn’t the one who volunteered to go bungee jumping.
