“Do your own job properly, and I’ve reminded you more than once at the company, please address me as President Queen, and you too, Uncle.”
Queen Corp is doing well with the projects Hazel secured earlier, as well as the collaboration with Price Corp. The future looks promising
At this point, it’s nearly impossible for Jonah to pull Hazel down from the CEO position.
“Yes, President Queen is right. If everyone used their family ties like we did, how could the company, be managed?”
Seeing her own father flattering Hazel like that made Bailey furious, but she couldn’t do anything to Hazel for now, so she could only stomp her feet and leave the office.
“Bailey’s been spoiled by us, President Queen. Don’t take it to heart, I’ll go check on her.”
Once the two left, Sully entered with some materials for Hazel to sign.
“I saw the commefits online as well. They were really harsh, but I think this is a good opportunity for you to establish your authority. We should hold a press conference. Let the media see that you’re not someone to mess with, and when the employees see that, they’ll know you’re not to be trifled with.”
As a leader, you always need a certain distance from your employees to make sure they understand the hierarchy.
“Sounds good. I’ll follow your lead.”
“Hold on, I’m your employee too, but right now, you have no sense of authority in my eyes.”
Once Sully decides to do something, she quickly gets into the role
Just like now, when she’s helping Hazel assert her authority, she’s already imagined herself as an employee, though Hazel still likes to joke around with her.
“In the company, I’m just your assistant. How many times do I have to tell you that?”
Hearing this, Hazel immediately became serious. “No assistant speaks to the CEO like that. I must have given you too much face!

Sully froze, not expecting to shoot herself in the foot, but it worked out this way.
“These contracts are the partnership proposals and projects from various companies after your recognition banquet. I’ve chosen the most reliable ones. Meanwhile, the technical staff is busy as well. Queen Corp is like a rusty gear that’s been oiled and is now running smoothly.”
Hazel has firmly established herself in her position, but who knows if Jonah will try anything else.
Someone like him, with ambition, Sully doesn’t believe he’s willing to submit to Hazel.
“Don’t worry about your uncle, I’ve arranged an assistant for him. His every move is under our surveillance. If he wants to cause trouble for you, he’d need some real skills, but clearly, he doesn’t have that ability.”
Ambition isn’t a bad thing, but without the ability to back it up, it will only lead to self–destruction.
“Focus on your work for now. I’ll handle the rest.”
Hazel frowned. “You’re my assistant, so handling these things is part of your job. Why else would I pay you?”
Sully nodded appreciatively. This is how a CEO should act.
Before the press conference, Sully had also stirred up some trouble online, spreading all sorts of rumors about Hazel va granttiaire
buzz.

The bigger the hype, the greater the reaction when the truth comes out.
When Delilah saw how the rumors about Hazel and Damon were spreading online, she turned red with anger.
She angrily threw her phone against the wall. The shards bounced back, cutting across her face.
It felt like being pricked by a needle. When she touched her face, it was wet with blood, which made her even angrier. To make matters worse, her stomach started hurting unexpectedly.
She quickly grabbed her other phone and called Damon. He picked up the call quickly.
“Damon, my stomach hurts. Can you come back and take me to the hospital?”
Damon, who was giving Kin some work instructions, furrowed his brows tightly when he heard Delilah’s words. His expression was so tense that it could crush a mosquito.
“Delilah, do you think this is funny? I won’t mention the trouble you caused last time when you pretended your stomach hurt. And now you’re doing it again.”
The last time they were about to attend Hazel’s recognition banquet, Delilah claimed to have a stomachache, so he took her to the hospital, but there was nothing wrong with her. The doctor simply said she had excessive nutrients and advised her not to eat too many rich foods.
He didn’t know what had gone wrong with her today, but she was making trouble for him again.
“Didn’t my mom arrange for a doctor to be with you? If you’re not feeling well, go see the doctor. I’m not a doctor. What’s the point of coming to me?!”
After yelling, Damon hung up the phone directly. At this rate, he would have a nervous breakdown just for that child.
That brat Demian, leaving him with such a huge problem…
Without getting Damon, Delilah hurriedly went to find the maid, but before she could reach the door, she collapsed to the floor
It wasn’t until the maid came to call her for lunch in the afternoon that she was found lying in the bedroom. The family rushed to send her to the hospital in a panic.
At the hospital, Agatha was still angrily hitting Jamal. “It’s all your fault! If you hadn’t locked me up, I would’ve realized something was wrong with Delilah sooner. If anything happens to my grandson, you all won’t escape the blame!”
Grandpa Mark also came to the hospital. When Agatha said this, she nervously glanced at the old man.
Seeing that the old man remained silent with a serious expression, she finally felt relieved.
If she had truly offended the old man, it wouldn’t have been as simple as being locked up for a couple of days. She knew very well that last time Jamal locked her up before anyone else could, to prevent the old man from stepping in.
Although the old man was getting older, his ruthless methods were still as sharp as when he was young.
Even someone as old as Jamal would be afraid of making mistakes in front of the old man.
“Alright, from now on, stay by Delilah’s side and take good care of her,” Jamal finally relented.
He knew that after this incident, the old man would probably no longer hold grudges about the past. After all, no matter how much he didn’t care about Delilah, he still cared about the child in her womb.
When the doctor finished the checkup and came out, everyone gathered around.
“Doctor, is the child in her womb alright? What’s going on? Why did she suddenly faint like this?”
“Fainting is due to emotional instability in pregnant women, which caused excessive stress. The fetus has been affected as well. She needs to be hospitalized for observation. She hasn’t woken up yet, but the nurse will arrange a room for you right away. You should send someone to handle the paperwork.”

They thought it was nothing serious, but it turned out to be severe enough to require hospitalization.
Jamal went with the doctor to handle the payment and paperwork, while Agatha followed the nurse to the ward.
The old man stood there, still trying to process what the doctor had said. He hadn’t quite recovered from the shock.
