Chapter 110
“It takes at least half a day.” I answered.
The doctor had just told Ferris that while allergies looked like just red spots to others, only the person experiencing it could understand that drilling itch, more unbearable than pain.
Ferris never imagined that his first attempt at cooking would send me to the hospital.
“What else can’t you eat?” he asked.
I was stunned for a moment, then shook my head.
Ferris was about to ask something else when his phone rang
I saw Ashley’s name displayed on his phone,
He picked up the phone and walked to the balcony before answering.
I didn’t know what Ashley talked to him about, but when he came out, he said: “I have business to handle today. Simon will help you with the discharge procedures later and take you back to the villa.”
“No need to trouble…”
Before I could finish, Ferris interrupted: “I’ve had your driver replaced, Simon will arrange a new one.”
My throat caught, and I held back, not contradicting him.
He was always this domineering, never considering others‘ wishes.
Not long after Ferris left, Simon came to handle my discharge and arranged a new driver for me.
“Miss Aurora, if you need anything else, you can tell me,” Simon said.
I replied “okay” and got out of the car to return to the villa.
Today, the villa was exceptionally quiet.
I couldn’t sleep, so I opened my laptop to review medical materials.
But I hadn’t been reading long when I heard the sound of a door opening downstairs.
I thought it was Ferris returning, so I didn’t pay attention.
Until there was knocking at my room door. Looking over, I discovered it was Victoria, dressed elegantly.

Chapter 110
This was the first time I had encountered Victoria since deciding to leave Ferris.
“Let’s talk.”
Victoria walked into the room and found a chair to sit in.
I sat across from her, “What do you want to talk about?”
“What’s your purpose in coming back?” Victoria got straight to the point.
Hearing this, I smiled: “Do I need to have a purpose to return to my own home?”
Victoria was stunned, clearly not expecting her formerly submissive daughter–in–law to actually talk back.
However, she believed that no matter how much a person changed, they couldn’t change their weak nature.
She raised her eyebrows slightly: “All these years, you haven’t been able to give Silver Moon pack an heir. You’re really not suitable to continue being Luna.”
“You’re not leaving now because of money, right?”
Victoria took out a check and placed it in front of me, “How much do you want? Fill in whatever amount.”
Looking at the check before me, I felt it was particularly ironic.
“Does Ferris know that you’re giving me money to leave?”
“What do you mean?”
“You should ask Ferris about that. If he were willing, I would have left long ago.”
