Chapter 465
“Just head to the last private room at the end-that’s the one. I worked hard to get you this opportunity, so make sure you put on your best show, okay?”
Marina patted Susy’s shoulder, only to realize Susy was trembling.
Marina didn’t walk her all the way. In the end, Susy was left to open the door to the final, secluded suite on her own.
Mr. York was waiting inside, a portly man whose bloated face and bulging gut made Susy’s stomach turn. The sight of him alone was enough to make her want to vomit. She spun on her heel, ready to flee.
“Ms. Fraser, you’ve come all this way-why are you leaving already?”
Mr. York strode over and wrapped his arm around Susy’s waist, pulling
her onto the couch beside him.
Susy tried to resist, but in the end, she let herself be maneuvered-forcing herself to swallow her revulsion as she settled onto his lap.
“Never thought I’d get to taste what it’s like to have the Fraser heiress in my arms,” he sneered.
Those words-*the Fraser heiress*-landed on Susy’s face like a slap.
Mr. York’s hand slid up beneath her miniskirt, and Susy flinched, instinctively pushing him away.
“Ms. Fraser, weren’t you the one who invited me here tonight?”
She froze.
“I know what you want from me. Don’t worry-just make sure you please me, and I’ll help you out. Promise.”
Mr. York tugged down her spaghetti strap and buried his face in her
chest.

After leaving The Lumina Club, Marina got back in her car and dialed
Joker.
“Mr. York’s taken care of. Who else do you want her to entertain?”
“As many men as you can spare from my end. She’ll entertain as many as you bring.”
“Fine.”
Hearing how readily Marina agreed, Joker let out a cold laugh on the other end of the line.
“Funny how eager you are when you’re not the one on the line. Guess I underestimated you-never thought I’d meet a woman even dumber than you, willing to take your place as a whore.”
Marina’s face darkened at his taunt.
“And that miniskirt she wore-wasn’t that one of your old ones?”
Before Joker could say another word, Marina hung up, seething.
She would never go back to the kind of hell she’d escaped from.
Susy was ruined now anyway, and she’d always hated Niamh with a vengeance. If Susy was willing to take the fall, what reason did she have to refuse?
In the deepest suite of The Lumina Club, after Mr. York finally sauntered out with a satisfied grin, a string of other men filed in one after another.
Vertex Plaza.
Niamh was browsing suits in a sleek menswear boutique.
The only other customers were Elmer, who had come with her, and
Jonathan, whom she’d run into at the entrance by chance.

Chapter 465
Niamh couldn’t have been more surprised to see Jonathan here.
She’d always liked this brand. Back when she was Jonathan’s wife, she bought him countless suits from this very shop-but Jonathan had always turned up his nose at them.
Eventually, she’d stopped buying them, always bending to Jonathan’s preferences instead.
But now she understood.
It was never the suits Jonathan disliked. It was the person giving them to
him.
Inside the store, Niamh and Elmer stood close, laughing softly as they pored over fabrics and styles-anyone watching would think they were a couple.
Jonathan stood off to the side, one hand in his pocket, stiff and silent as a lamppost.
At first, Niamh couldn’t fathom why Jonathan would come to a store like this-he never liked their suits, after all.
But now, watching him stand there, almost statuesque, she wondered if maybe Jonathan hadn’t come here to shop at all.
‘Nia…”
Elmer’s voice snapped her out of her thoughts. She looked over and saw nis eyes shining with warmth.
‘Don’t look at anyone else. Just look at me, okay?”
His words were like a gentle spring, soothing and warm, seeping quietly into her heart.
Niamh smiled, nodding. “Alright. I’ll only look at you. Happy now?”
