Yasmin got more and more worked up as she spoke, her face turning red.

In less than an hour, someone had threatened my life twice!
This was something I couldn’t even dream of happening since joining the agency.
Without further ado, I took out my phone in front of everyone.
“Hello, sir. This is Jessica Chen.”
The voice on the other end cheerfully replied:
“Ah, Jessica! Why are you calling me at this time? Have you met him? Are you satisfied?”
I gave William a long, meaningful look before chuckling coldly.
“Sir, the blind date is a long story. I have an urgent situation to report to you.”
“Someone is trying to buy my seat!”
“What did you say!?”
The shock in my superior’s voice was palpable even through the phone.
“That’s an exclusive seat not for sale to the public. Are you sure you’re not joking with me?”
I calmly continued:
“Sir, how could I joke about something like this?”
“The person buying my seat also accused me of pushing them and is demanding $1 million in compensation. They say if I don’t pay, they won’t let me off the plane!”

I was about to speak when Yasmin snatched the phone away.

My superior was probably stunned that someone would dare speak to him like that after all these years. He was speechless for a few
seconds.
“So you’re the one who stole Jessica’s seat and is now demanding she pay you?”
Yasmin still had no idea who she was offending and maintained her arrogant attitude.
“Cut the crap. Are you going to pay or not?”

After hanging up, Yasmin looked at her boss smugly, as if seeking praise.
Seeing this scene, I really couldn’t hold back my laughter.
“Mr. Smith, you’ve really hired yourself an excellent assistant.”
“She even dares to curse out my superior. I’ve never seen anyone so brave in the whole country.”
William frowned at my warning, while Yasmin snorted dismissively.
“Hmph, I don’t care who your superior is. The plane’s about to take off. Get lost already!”
I smiled coldly.
“Take off? Without my say–so, this plane won’t even budge an inch today. Want to bet?”
As soon as I finished speaking, someone in the crowd shouted:
“Look outside, everyone!”
The crowd turned to look out the windows.
A convoy of over a dozen armored cash transport vehicles was heading towards the airport…
