KARMA’S 6

Chapter 6

Just then, Willow limped into the classroom, supported by her roommate.

“Jaxon… what’s wrong?”

I had to admire her resilience-jumping from the second floor and still managing to attend class the next day.

Clearly, after spending the night alone together at the hospital, Willow and Jaxon’s relationship had clearly heated up fast.

Seeing Willow’s injured leg, Jaxon seemed to forget about the desperate call from his own mother.

Not wanting to worry Willow, Jaxon immediately composed himself.

“It’s nothing. Willow. How are you feeling?”

Willow said weakly, “I’m fine, Jaxon. Just couldn’t sleep last night from the pain…”

Then Willow looked up, glancing past me toward our classmates with that innocent act.

“Please don’t blame Aria, everyone. Even though she pushed me off the balcony, I’ve already forgiven her.”

“Aria’s family is rich and powerful-not someone ordinary people should mess with. I hope you all protect yourselves and don’t get into conflicts with her because of me. It… it won’t do you any good.”

With that, Willow started sobbing dramatically, playing the helpless victim perfectly.

But she didn’t know, not a single classmate spoke up. They all looked uncomfortable, quietly watching her performance.

Me? Of course I wasn’t going to expose her this early.

in the entire classroom, only Jaxon-who’d been busy with Willow all night and hadn’t checked his phone-didn’t know the truth.

After crying her fill, Willow wiped her tears and turned to me with a pleading look.

‘A-Aria.”

Her face was full of fear toward me, even her voice trembling.

She pointed to the bandage wrapped around her calf, unable to stop fresh tears from falling.

Last night’s medical bills… they used up my entire semester’s living expenses. Could you please pay me back for the medical costs?”

I don’t want any other compensation-just please give me the medical money. My family’s poor, my parents can’t send me any more money. If you don’t pay me

back, I’ll starve to death…”

OMG! I couldn’t stand this faker anymore!

Willow, why don’t you check the messages in the group chat first?”

The moment I finished speaking, Jaxon violently flipped over my desk.

le used so much force that I fell to the ground with my shin pinned under the desk.

‘Ah!”

I screamed in pain.

But Jaxon’s face was lit up with righteous fury as he looked around at our classmates before fixing his gaze on me.

“We’re trying to have a serious conversation here, and you’re babbling about checking group messages?”

Aria, they’re all afraid of you. But I’m not!”

You hurt Willow like this and think it’s no big deal-well, you should experience the same pain she did.”
