MARRIED BILLIONAIRE 11

MARRIED BILLIONAIRE 11

Chapter 11

I looked at Damien coldly. When the ambulance arrived, he quickly hung up the phone.

He stood up, his face grim, “Elara, I’ll take you to dinner another day.”

With that, he dragged Lila outside.

Her amniotic fluid left a trail behind them.

Watching this soap opera unfold, I found the food before me quite appetizing.

Suddenly, I retched.

TH

Thorne and I looked at each other, and he immediately stood up excitedly, “Are you pregnant?”

I shook my head, “I’m not sure.”

My menstrual cycle had always been irregular-that’s why I didn’t notice my first pregnancy.

Damien had drawn ten vials of my blood until I passed out.

When I woke up, the doctor told me I was pregnant-but the child didn’t survive.

But Thorne didn’t hesitate. He held me in his arms.

“Let’s go to the hospital.”

“Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Black, your family will soon welcome a new member.”

Thorne excitedly lifted me up and spun me around, then carefully set me down.

He kissed my hand affectionately, “Elara, I’m so happy.”

Just then, Damien appeared behind us, his face pale, “Elara…”

A nurse rushed in, pulling his arm.

“Mr. Jackson, what are you doing here? The patient is hemorrhaging-we need your signature now!”

He was dragged away by the nurse.

The next day, I heard that Lila had given birth to twin girls.

Damien’s parents took one look at the babies, then pulled Damien away, “We’ve arranged for you to meet a girl from the Upper East Side elite. You should go.”

Lana and Lila clung to Damien desperately, “Damien, you can’t just leave us like this!”

His parents shouted at the bodyguards behind them, “Throw these two parasites to the Bronx!”

“Ever since they appeared, Damien’s life has been hell. They’ve nearly dragged our entire family to destruction!”

Eight months later, I gave birth to a daughter.

The Black family celebrated all night, and the next morning, they issued an official press release announcing to the world that the Black family had welcomed their newest little princess.

Thorne was extremely doting toward our daughter. He wouldn’t let her grandparents hold her for more than five minutes before

taking her back.

At her one-month celebration party, he proudly showed her off to every guest.

I stood beside him, smiling gently, until I suddenly felt a pair of eyes looking at me intensely.

I turned around-it was Damien.

He looked nothing like his former self-exhausted and weary.

Standing beside him was a woman with a smug smile, wearing designer high heels.

I knew who she was: the heiress of an old-money billionaire family in New York, nearly ten years older than Damien. Damien’s business could only survive through strategic marriage due to poor management.

So Damien’s parents arranged for him to marry her-a woman who had been divorced three times and had two children from different ex-husbands.

When she saw me, there was no hostility in her eyes. Instead, she smiled and approached to greet me, “You must be Damien’s ex-wife. You’re very beautiful. But too soft-hearted. If it were me, those twin mistresses would have ended up in strip clubs.”

Damien looked at me awkwardly, calling my name softly.

I turned around, took my daughter from Thorne’s arms, and gently rocked her.

Then I smiled at them, “Please enjoy the food and drinks. I need to take the baby to nurse.”

Then Thorne put his arm around me and our daughter as we left.

After that, I didn’t hear about Damien for a long time.

The only time he appeared again was on the news-a family dispute had sent him to the hospital.

I switched channels without hesitation.

Back in the room, Thorne was gently watching our daughter in her cradle.

I walked behind Thorne, hugged him, and stroked our daughter’s soft cheek with my hand.

The difficulties of my past were finally filled with the happiness of family.
