MARRIED BILLIONAIRE 3

MARRIED BILLIONAIRE 3

Chapter 3

When Lila saw Damien, tears welled up in her eyes.

“Damien, she hit my sister.”

Damien was still in shock. He looked down at his hand, then looked at me guiltily, “Elara, I didn’t mean to…”

Lana sneered.

“Is this Mr. Jackson’s sincerity in pursuing us sisters? Still entangled with his ex-wife after divorce?”

“If that’s the case, then my sister and I really can’t be with you.”

“We were raised properly from childhood and would never be mistresses, much less women who depend on rich ex-husbands.”

With that, Lana looked at me, “Is this how high society operates-refusing to let go even after divorce?”

Damien’s face stiffened, “Elara, apologize to Lana and Lila.”

Snow began to fall. I held the gradually stiffening Coco, met Damien’s gaze, and said with a trembling voice, “They killed my dog.”

Dk

That was the dog that had been with me for fifteen years, the last memento my mother left me!

Pain flashed in Damien’s eyes, but Lila grabbed Lana’s arm, “Damien, that dog bit my sister first!”

I looked at them angrily. Coco was so gentle, it would never attack people unprovoked.

Damien immediately stepped forward to check Lana’s hand, “Does it hurt?”

Lana stubbornly turned her face away, “So what if it hurts? The dog that hurt someone won’t be punished anyway.”

Damien’s tone was gentle, “Darling, what do you want to do?”

Lana looked at me with a cold smile, “Since your ex-wife cares so much about that dog, how about making her spend a night in the dog cage with it?”

Damien agreed without hesitation, “Fine, as long as you’re happy, anything goes.”

Lana finally smiled, her radiant smile mesmerizing Damien so much he couldn’t look away.

Then Damien looked at me with disgust and ordered the nearby bodyguard, “Do as Lana said!”

The bodyguard hesitated, “But… but Mr. Jackson, it’s ten degrees below zero outside tonight, and the madam…”

Lana’s smile froze as she turned to leave, “Even your bodyguards listen to her. How can I trust that you’ll be responsible for us sisters?”

Damien immediately caught up, holding her and coaxing gently, “Alright, darling, we’ll do as you say, everything as you say.”

Then he turned back and shouted at the bodyguard, “Get moving!”

I struggled violently but was eventually locked in the dog cage.

Lila picked up Coco by the tail and said cheerfully to Damien, “Damien, how about we roast some dog meat tonight to celebrate my sister and me moving in?”

Chapter 3

I desperately grabbed the cage, breaking down, “No!”

“Please! Please! Damien, don’t do this to Coco!”

I knelt in the cage, begging repeatedly, but Damien only stared obsessively at Lana’s face, holding her hand to his lips, blowing on it over and over to keep her warm.

He didn’t look at me again, putting his arm around Lana’s waist and holding Lila’s hand as they walked into the manor.

I called Damien’s name, over and over again.

I don’t remember when I fainted from the cold. When I woke up, a plate of broken bones was placed in front of me.

I gripped Coco’s leash tightly, my nails digging deep into my palm, “Damien, I will never, ever forgive you.”

However, when I woke up the next day, Damien was sitting by my bed with red eyes.
