In the seven–star Sail Hotel in Empiro Tower.
“Gina, are you certain he’s here?”

Rosalie scanned the lavish hotel lobby, still in disbelief. “Even if he didn’t drop a fortune, it must have cost a pretty penny!”
Regina Miller clenched her teeth in anger. “I’m positive he’s here! In Room 5888, that rat Ethan is shacked up with some rich lady!”
Unbelievable!
Rosalie was thoroughly disgusted.
“Gina, if we actually catch them together, what then?”
Rosalie turned to ask Regina, her concern palpable.
“First, we teach him a lesson!”
“Do you really think you can do that?” Rosalie was doubtful.
Regina fought back tears, her eyes welling up. “Rosa, honestly, I’m really upset. I feel like crying…”
She had spent seven years with Ethan Kemper, from college through to their engagement plans. She had given him the best years of her life, only to be repaid with indifference.
She would be lying if she said she was not devastated,
“Don’t cry, Gina! There’s no use crying over that jerk!”
Rosalie quickly comforted her, recognizing her emotional turmoil, and suggested, “How about I go in first to scope things out? If anything’s amiss, I’ll call you. You stay here, gather yourself, okay?”
Rosalie was actually worried that if they both barged in and caught Ethan with that woman, Regina might not withstand the shock.

“Can you handle it alone?” Regina was concerned.
“Don’t worry! He wouldn’t dare mess with me!”
“Okay, just be careful.”
“Sure, I’m heading up now! Hand me the room card.”
Regina passed the card to Rosalie.

Rosalie was not sure how Regina managed to get the room card from her friend, but she did not dwell on it. She took the card and made her way to the fifty–eighth floor.
Regina seemed like she wanted to follow, but hesitated.
She was terrified, afraid to witness scenes she hoped she would never encounter in her life!
Rosalie found the VVIP Suite 5888 on the fifty–eighth floor without trouble.
As she reached for the card, she noticed the door was ajar!
Wow, so bold! Engaging in such shameful acts and not even bothering to close the door completely!

As Rosalie silently fumed, she slipped quietly into the room, navigating by the moonlight streaming through the window.
She moved through the expansive living room until she reached the master bedroom.
Gently, she nudged the door open.
