Chapter 4
In the evening, at Will’s villa.
I lay on the large, soft bed, gazing at the luxurious decor around the room, feeling an almost surreal sensation.
Am I really the lost daughter of the Will family?
The Will family is a mysterious, century–old family, and I don’t know much about them. When I first became an adult and began working with the Donald family’s businesses, they once told me a little about it.
In this region, the Donald family is fearless–they stand toe–to–toe with anyone, even the richest, and they won’t back down, thanks to their connections in politics.
But there is one family that should never be provoked: the Will family.
My adoptive parents didn’t go into detail, but they repeatedly warned me that if the Donald family were to offend the Will family, it wouldn’t just be the Donald family’s power at stake–political ties could be upended overnight.
Since then, I’ve never forgotten the name Will.
And now, I’ve found out that I am actually the eldest daughter of the Will family?
To me, this feels like going from hell to heaven in an instant.
I took a deep breath, got out of bed, and decided to explore the Will family’s estate.
Tonight, the Will family’s estate was lively with a host of distinguished guests. Although my biological parents were still abroad, my older brother, whom I had never met, was on his way back.
To celebrate the return of the long–lost eldest daughter, my brother had ordered a party to be held in the estate tonight. Once my parents returned, a grand ceremony would take place.
Allen, the butler, was busy attending to the guests, and I wandered around the estate alone.
To my surprise, I ended up encountering the last people I wanted to see.
Wynter, Quinnell, and my former best friend Jessi.
They were gathered around a young woman, showering her with praise and attention.
I recognized the woman–she was Jessi’s cousin, Krasty.
Jessi, with a sycophantic smile, said to Krasty, “When are you and Gwen getting married? I can’t wait to attend your luxurious wedding!”
Wynter also smiled and said, “Oh! Once you join the Will family, we’ll be the best of friends!”
Quinnell added, “Only someone like Krasty is worthy of Gwen, the young master.”

Krasty flashed a proud smile and waved her hand wen and I are the perfect match, the world will envy us.”
“Today is the day Gwen’s younger sister returns. I still haven’t seen her yet!”
“As long as I get close to her, I’m sure I can marry Gwen.”
Wynter and Quinnell eagerly nodded in agreement.
Quinnell continued. “I heard that the Will family values their long–lost daughter a lot!”
“For her, Gwen gave up his business overseas and rushed back. He even invited many wealthy people to tonight’s party just to welcome his sister.”
