Wayne did not figure out the truth of the whole situation on his own. Every time Allana showed concern and control, he truly only saw it as the care that an admirer needs to show towards
someone they are afraid of getting hurt,
He never believed from the beginning that she approached him because she genuinely liked him, so he checked her information, checked the information of her crush, and always had someone watching her whenever they went out, in order to prevent her from doing anything detrimental to the Wyatt Group.
But she went to work and came home as usual, caring for hirm and looking after him, without any
other actions.
Just when he thought that she might truly have fallen for him, Sean suddenly appeared in his sight. As Aliana’s ex–husband, it was natural for him to pay more attention. However, he never expected that Sean would actually approach him on his own and reveal all the truth.
Wayne did not directly believe Sean’s words, so when he just went to ask Aliana, he wished that she could also straightforwardly say that she no longer liked him, just like denying liking Sean.
But she didn’t.
With the surveillance on the second floor of the banquet hall, Sean’s clear words were, “Is he really that good, worth changing yourself and staying with someone you don’t love, pretending and deceiving for years?”

In the presidential suite, the room was pitch black because Wayne had turned off the lights when he left. She sat on the bed, listening to his footsteps fading away, never looking back, feeling lost in her heart.

That year, Aliana was twenty years old and Aaron was twenty–two years old.
On his birthday, he got down on one knee and proposed to her. As he looked into her eyes, shining with brightness, he said, “Aliana, ever since I was five years old, my birthday wish every year has been to marry you and bring you home as my wife. Today, I am twenty–two years old, and we can get married now. Will you marry me?”
The heart–shaped candles encircled them, and in his hand, he held a diamond ring purchased with the prize money he had won from various competitions during his college years. A bouquet of fiery red roses was tied together, and on top, there was a small card he had personally written, “Aliana, I like you, will you marry me?”
Aliana’s eyes shimmered with tears of happiness as she extended her right hand towards him, nodded vigorously, and said, “I am willing.”
Not long after, their parents began discussing the wedding date. Aaron didn’t want to wait until the following year. After careful consideration, both sets of parents finally settled on a good day at the
end of the year.
This way, their wedding would neither be too rushed nor be delayed for too long.
Their relationship had the blessings of both sets of parents and all their friends, they were supposed to be happy.
The scene changed, and they had been looking forward to this wedding for a long time. With the wedding date approaching, they had one last batch of things to prepare for the groomsmen and bridesmaids. So, they both got into the car to go out shopping.
And unexpectedly, the accident also quietly arrived.
