Chapter 8
She dialed a number and whispered into the phone, “What a waste. Why didn’t you realize there was something wrong with that rabbit in the first place? I almost lost everything I’ve worked sc hard for!”
“Hurry up and figure out a way to destroy whatever Jack is holding. If he keeps it, we’re finished.”
“Oh, and one more thing…”
After giving her final instructions, Jesica leaned back against the hospital bed with satisfaction.
“Anna, even in death, you can’t beat me. Just wait and see.”
Meanwhile, Jack’s investigation into the murder house was abruptly shut down by pressure from Jesica’s Dad–who even spent a hefty sum to bury it. His livestream channel was blocked and he vanished from the public eye.
In the days that followed, the entire Meyer Family finally stopped having nightmares.
But Jesica grew increasingly anxious.
No matter how many people she sent out, none of them could find Jack. Left with no other option, she was forced to accelerate her next move.
Late one night, Jesica suddenly began sleepwalking.
She slipped out of the hospital, traveled thousands of miles and arrived at the infamous murder house–only to jump into the well.

The next morning, the Meyer familly nearly went insane when they discovered Jesica was missing. It wasn’t until they checked the surveillance footage that they saw her wandering out of the hospital, moving slowly, as if possessed.
The trail went cold in the forest–the roadside cameras picked up nothing further.
Brother, recalling a terrifying possibility, raced back to the murder house.
And there, in the dark depths of the well, they found Jesica–unconscious, her body scraped and
scratched from the thorns in the woods.
No matter how loudly they shouted her name, she wouldn’t wake.
The doctor later said that her brainwaves indicated she should be awake, yet she showed no
reaction at all.
Everyone believed she had been possessed.
The spiritual master they brought in confirmed it too. But since matters of ghosts and spirits were considered superstition, the police refused to take the case.
Left on their own, Mom, Dad and brother scrambled to find me instead.
The master claimed I was hiding in a place where they could never find me–and that I had joined forces with someone to destroy the Meyer Family.
He warned them to be extra cautious.
Sure enough, as if in eerie confirmation, Jack suddenly resurfaced.
3:56 am
This time, he started livestreaming again–under a new account, using a foreign IP address.
As soon as the stream began, he placed the rabbit and the urn on camera and gave a bitter smile.
“After I went off the air that day, I knew I couldn’t stay in the country anymore. It was just too dangerous.”
“I haven’t been able to broadcast until now because my account got blocked.
Let’s not pretend we don’t know who has the power to pull those strings.”
“But today, I’m releasing all the recordings stored in this rabbit.
You can judge for yourselves whether they’re fake or not.”
He gently patted the rabbit.
And Jesica’s voice began to play.
“That’s right. I wasn’t bullied. I set you up–on purpose.”
“My boyfriend? He got into bed with you on his own.
Let’s be honest–look at your dried–up little body. What man would ever want to touch you?”
“Oh, and those men who were guarding that place? Yeah… I found them, too. Hahahaha!”
“Why are you doing this to me-? Oohhh…”
“Because I want the whole family to believe you’re not just a thief, but a slut too.
A promiscuous, disgusting little tramp.”
“Only then will you stop coming back to the Meyer Family trying to steal from me!”
“I swear I’ll leave. Please… just don’t let them hurt me…”
A loud slapping noise followed. Jesica’s voice turned cold and venomous.
“I’ll only rest easy when you completely disappear from this world.”
Then came her final, chilling command.
‘Go ahead and enjoy yourselves.
The police already searched this place–they won’t be coming back for a while.”
‘Make sure you clean up the mess when you’re done.”
My panicked cries were abruptly cut off.
The only sound left… was the men laughing.
