ROBBED ME 15

ROBBED ME 15

Chapter 7

The children were led outside by the assistant.

A group of badly beaten people were marched in by the bodyguards.

Mason in particular, once handsome, now had a face swollen like a balloon. He appeared dazed, as if his soul had left his body.

Beside him, Ivy’s makeup was streaked with tears, making her look absolutely terrifying.

The project managers immediately fell to their knees before Jackson, kowtowing so hard the sound echoed through the room.

“Mr. Reed, we messed up big time. We swear to God we had no idea she was Mrs. Reed and your little princess! Not in a million years would we have dared touch them if we’d known.”

“Yes,” someone from the corner spoke up, trembling as he pointed at Mason and Ivy. “It was these two scum who deceived us! They claimed Mrs. Reed was a prostitute. It’s all their fault! Please spare us!”

The men continued kowtowing until their foreheads were streaming with blood, their faces unrecognizable.

Finally, Jackson nodded slightly, signaling them to stop.

He stood up and walked among them, his gaze piercing. “So what you’re saying is, if she weren’t my wife-Jackson Reed’s wife-then it would be acceptable for you to bully her and lock her in a freezer?”

Cold sweat poured down their foreheads as they lowered their heads, not daring to speak.

Jackson snorted coldly. “From today forward, all of your companies will be permanently blacklisted by Reed Enterprises.”

Without Reed Enterprises’ backing, while they might not go bankrupt, their companies would never rise to prominence again.

Jackson continued his satanic judgment: “And since you’re so fond of cold storage units, strip naked and get in there yourselves. Don’t worry-I’ll have doctors monitoring your vital signs. You won’t be in any life-threatening danger.”

With that, Jackson dismissed them with a wave of his hand, ordering his bodyguards to drag them away, ignoring their paper-white faces.

Next came Mason and Ivy.

Seeing Jackson approaching, Mason finally snapped back to reality.

“What do you think you’re doing? Jackson Reed, don’t think you can bully people just because you’re the richest man in the state!”

Mason roared like a cornered, pathetic dog.

But Ivy shoved him hard, shrieking: “Get away from me! This is all your fault, you useless man! If you weren’t so broke and incompetent, I wouldn’t be suffering like this, you worthless coward!”

As she spoke, she crawled to Jackson’s feet, deliberately exposing her pale shoulders and forcing what she thought was a seductive smile. “Mr. Reed, I’m still young. Please give me a chance to make amends. I’ll do anything you want if you let me go.”

Mason was stunned by her sudden transformation, his face flushing then paling, feeling as if horns were sprouting from his head.

“You whore! I’m standing right here, and you’re throwing yourself at him? You filthy slut-do you really think he’d look at someone like you?”

Mason lunged forward and slapped her hard across the face.

Ivy screamed, holding her cheek. “Who do you think you are? You never even married me! Who I seduce is none of your business! If Natalie could transform from trash to treasure by marrying into wealth, why can’t I? I’m younger than her! Stop acting all high and mighty-you smell like an old man. If you hadn’t had money back then, I never would have followed you.”

Ivy bore no resemblance to her formerly gentle self as she clawed and fought with Mason.

Jackson watched their dog-eat-dog fight with disgust, his voice cold as polar ice.

“You dare compare yourself to my wife? You’re not worthy to shine her shoes. Since you enjoy slapping people so much, let me give you a taste of your own Bedicine.”

With that, he nodded to his bodyguards.

They immediately pinned her down as slaps rained down on her face.

“One hundred slaps, then throw her in the cold storage with the others.”

Sharp, crisp sounds mixed with desperate wails filled the room.

Jackson curled his lip, turning to Mason. “As for you-one month ago, Wilde Enterprises faced a liquidity crisis, and you knelt in my office begging for cooperation.”

“What did you say then? That you’d be my loyal servant, right? Is this how you repay kindness-by abusing my wife and daughter?”

With each word Jackson spoke, Mason’s face grew paler.

His lips trembled as he tried to say something, but ultimately remained silent

Jackson casually curved his lips into a smile, drawling: “Getting chilly out there. Guess it’s the perfect weather for Wilde Enterprises to go bankrupt.”

Though it sounded like a joke, Mason couldn’t find any humor in it.

His face was a mask of desolation.

He knew everything was over.

Jackson Reed was a man of his word.

Starting tomorrow, Wilde Enterprises would vanish from existence.
