“You are already divorced, what else can you contact with to her?” Frederick expressed his unhappiness as she knew Pamela was looking for her.
Erica glanced at the phone screen for a moment. “Pamela has never been willing to talk to me. This time, she personally called me. Somthing important must happened. I need to go and see what she wants.”
Despite her dissatisfaction, Frederick still dropped Erica off at the meeting place.
When she entered, Pamela had already arrived and was sitting upright in her chair.
Upon seeing her, Pamela took a sip of coffee and then lowered her head before speaking indifferently, “Have a seat.”
Pamela had a way of making her feel inferior with just one look. In front of her, Erica felt as though she were no more than a mere kitten or dog!
However, Erica no longer listened to her as she used to. She stood a meter away and replied calmly, “If Mrs West have something to say, just go ahead.”
Pamela eyebrows twitched, clearly displaying her disdain for Erica’s lack of education. However, she refrained from reprimanding her and instead nodded at the person beside her, “Lawyer Helen.”
Helen stepped forward. “Miss Stewart, since you and Mrs. Erica have already divorced, you should make a decision regarding child support.”
“The child? She is mine. Of course, I will take care of her,” Erica replied without hesitation.
“Do not forget, that child is also my granddaughter!” Pamela coldly reminded her, her drooping eyelids exuding disdain for Erica’s ignorance.
Erica couldn’t help but laugh. “Mrs West actually acknowledges that you has a granddaughter. That’s rare!”
From the moment Lily was born until now, Pamela had never even held her. Every time she faced Lily, she wore the same expression of indifference, as if Lily were just a pet in the family.
Erica’s words clearly offended Pamela’s sense of prestige, and her face suddenly tightened.
However, she quickly regained her composure, as if the big man didn’t care about the little ants. “Lily is the kid of the West family and must stay with
us.”
“But she is closest to me!” Erica reminded. “You can ask Lily herself whether she wants to be with me or with you.”
“The child is only three years old, so her opinion is naturally irrelevant.”
“Considering the hard work Erica put into her pregnancy and childbirth, Mrs West can give you a certain amount of money as compensation.”
“I advise Miss Stewart to accept it as soon as it is offered. Otherwise, if this matter goes to court, you have no chance of winning with your current
financial resources.”
Helen’s words were intimidating, and she placed a check on the table.
When Erica saw the amount on it, she couldn’t help but want to laugh.

Frederick, concerned for Erica’s well–being, had been observing from the sidelines. She walked in.
Frederick raised her chin confidently and waved her phone. “Starlight Media has invested 1.4 million dollars to establish a growth fund for Lily. All her future expenses will be covered by it.”

Pamela also reversed her previous cold and arrogant look, and suddenly glared at her
“Now that Erica has enough financial resources to support Lily, she has given her the most and she is the most dependent on her. Do you still think there is no chance of winning this, Helen?”
In this situation, Erica not only had a chance of winning but a 100% chance at that.
Helen looked at Pamela with a bitter expression and shook her head.
Erica and Frederick were not in the mood to stay and admire her embarrassed face, so the two of them left together.
“I didn’t expect Starlight Media to be willing to spend 1.4 million to support Erica!”
When Pamela got home, she still couldn’t believe it! She asked Helen to investigate and it turned out to be true!
At this moment, she couldn’t maintain her dignified appearance, and her face cracked a few times.
“I heard that Frederick is just a part–timer. The owner of Starlight Media is someone else! Is Erica hooked up with the owner of Starlight Media again?” Diana angrily retorted.

Diana was extremely annoyed. She quickly called her think tank, Jenny Miller. “Help me find a way to ruin that shameless Erica!”
She explained everything.
“You said she had an affair with the owner of Starlight Media?”
On the other end, Jenny’s voice revealed joy.
“This is really interesting. As far as I know, the owner of Starlight Media got married four years ago. Erica is a mistress.”
“He’s married?” Hearing this, the irritability in Diana’s heart vanished.
A new plan popped up in her mind. “Jenny, do me a favor.”
