Chapter 12
A sharp and agonizing sound reverberated through the sky, and countless blood spurted out.
One big knife followed by another.
Carved on her face were blossoming red roses.
Until Lindsey’s entire face became a bloody mess.
The bodyguard then released her.
She knelt on the ground in pain, trembling as she touched her face, but then suddenly pushed it away. “My face! My face!”
Several best friends were so scared by the scene that they collapsed on the ground, unable to stop themselves from shrinking towards the wall.
Tristian, who had heard the noise, coldly looked at them, his voice falling on their ears like a devil.
“These few also came together.”
Their faces turned pale instantly, and their bodies couldn’t stop trembling.
Remembering all of this, Lindsey was the one who started it all, and immediately shifted all the blame onto her.
“Mr. Eldred, this cannot be blamed on us!”
“Yes, it was all Lindsey’s bad idea!”
“We didn’t do anything!”
Listening to their twisted words, if it were in the past, Lindsey Kenning would have slapped them hard and scolded them.
But now, she was crawling on the ground, gasping for breath, due to the pain.
Tristian’s eyes turned cold, and the bodyguards immediately stepped forward to restrain those individuals.
Several dozen slashes were made fiercely, followed by a series of wailing sounds.
The entire villa was immediately filled with the smell of blood, causing uncontrollable nausea.
The doctor arrived and only then did Emerson, who had fainted in pain, carefully hand himself over to the doctor’s arms
and let him take him to the room for treatment.
After finishing all of this, he finally freed up his hands and walked towards Lindsey step by step, squatting in front of her.
“Why, why…”
Upon hearing these words, Tristian let out a cold laugh.
“Why?”
“Who told you to touch my wife!”
Lindsey’s eyes widened instantly, and the words that came out of her mouth started to stutter. “Y-y-your wife?”
Did he get married?!
That woman was really his wife!
A fear spread in her heart, and she couldn’t stop stepping back.
But he grabbed my neck tightly.
“I thought you were obedient.”
“The person who dares to touch me, Lindsey, how many lives do you have to dare to do so!”
The woman trembled more and more, tears uncontrollably streaming down.
“Tristian… I…”
“Shut up!”
The man’s strength in his hands grew stronger and stronger, as if he was going to strangle the person to death.
Lindsey suddenly couldn’t breathe and her stomach was becoming more and more painful.
She had a tear-streaked face, looking at him pleadingly.
“Please, Mr. Eldred, I beg you, for the sake of our children, spare my life.”
Not mentioning the child is fine, but as soon as the child is mentioned, Tristian’s face becomes increasingly gloomy.
“Our child?”
“When did I ever say that this was our child?”
The woman’s face turned pale, and her body stiffened.
“What, what do you mean?”
When Tristian approached her initially, in order to avoid trouble, he simply asked her to have a child for him.
Nothing else was said.
She was overwhelmed by the overwhelming wealth and didn’t think much about it.
She just felt that with this child, she would be able to rely on her son and marry into a wealthy family.
But now, looking at his words, she had a sense of foreboding in her heart.
Sure enough, the man leaned against her ear and whispered word by word, “This child is mine and Emerson’s.”
“You were just a tool.”
With a buzzing sound, Lindsey’s mind became blank.

The man pinched her face again, his eyes becoming even more sarcastic.
“Do you know why I chose only you back then?”
“Because your face looks so much like Emerson’s, any child born would definitely resemble her.”
“A substitute, still wanting to take the lead, delusional!”
A series of consecutive blows left Lindsey completely collapsed on the ground.
“Hehe…”
Her dream of marrying into a wealthy family was shattered by him at this moment.
Tristian paid no attention to her as he watched her laughing hysterically.
Just at that moment, the doctor rushed out from inside.
“Mr. Eldred, Mrs. Eldred’s consciousness was critically endangered and in urgent need of medical attention!”
Upon hearing the words, Tristian immediately kicked Lindsey away, returned to the room, and carried the unconscious person out.
Lindsey was heavily kicked, and blood started to flow from under her body.
She screamed in realization.
“Child! My child!”
