“Where… where are we going?” My voice was hoarse, my face streaked with tears as Miles led me into the crowd of fleeing passengers.
I had faked my death using a fire before, but ended up developing a phobia of flames.

Miles gently wiped away my tears and softly kissed my lips:
“Lily, let’s go home, okay?”
The line had reached us. I suddenly shook off Miles‘ hand and pushed him into a lifeboat.
“What are you doing, Lily?!”
I gritted my teeth and backed away, running into the burning ship without looking back.
“Frank hasn’t come out yet!”
It’s been almost a week since the cruise ship explosion.
I stared blankly through the glass.
Frank lay motionless in the hospital bed, covered in tubes. But there was no shortage of girls coming to visit him.
Over a dozen each day, tearfully recounting their passionate encounters with Frank.
After arguing and yelling, they’d all go in to slap him in anger.
“You bastard!”
“Shameless j inerk!”
“Go to hell!”
I crossed off the 102 women Frank had cheated with one by one.
Successfully ruining his sterling reputation at the hospital.
His perfect face swelled up layer after layer.
I let out a heavy sigh:
<
“Finally-”
“All the girls got their revenge and came to their senses.”
“How wonderful.”
As I was leaving the hospital, Miles didn’t show up.
I remembered back then,
Miles ignored everyone’s warnings and jumped back onto the ship’s deck to find me.
“Lily, are you fucking crazy?! Is he worth it?!”
It was the first time I’d seen Miles so angry, his eyes blazing red as he looked at me:
“Save him.”
Miles‘ face darkened as he said nothing.
I coughed from the smoke, tears blurring my vision as I stubbornly tried to drag the
unconscious Frank.
“Frank, wake the hell up! You’re so heavy!”
“Frank! I won’t let you die!”
“Get up now!”
“Frank!”
How dare you die before those girls get your apology?!
A heavy object burned by the fire suddenly fell.
Miles forcefully pushed me away, letting out a pained grunt as he was hit.
He irritatedly hoisted Frank onto his back and grabbed my hand:

“What are you spacing out for? Let’s go!”
Sitting in the lifeboat, Miles didn’t banter with me like usual.
He just silently handed me a bottle of water, his face dark.
I carefully tugged at Miles‘ shirt that was flapping in the sea breeze.
“Miles…”
