The Phoenix 22

The Phoenix 22

Chapter 14

My wedding with Ethan was scheduled for one day in March

On the wedding day, the sunlight filtered through thin clouds, filled with the taste of happiness

I was dressed in a pure white wedding gown, with a dreamy veil on my head, and holding a fragrant bouquet of flowers in my hands

Ethan knelt down on one knee and said that he had liked someone when he was sixteen, but he didn’t have the courage to speak up

But fortunately, God had mercy on him and granted his wish at the age of thirtytwo

He said he would love me forever, be loyal to me forever, until life fades away

That night

Ethan held me tightly as if afraid I would disappear from this world

I only found out after I pressed for answers

Victor committed suicide

Since he woke up, people went crazy

I heard the nurse say that he said a lot of nonsense before he died

He asked the nurse if stomach cancer was very painful

He said sorry, sorry, I should have believed you

He shouted my name and said he didn’t mean it, he just wanted to scare me and didn’t intend

to rape me

He always fell down from the bed and said he was looking for his diary, his diary was lost

He shouted again that he wanted to go find Giselle

I asked him where Giselle was, and he said Giselle was in the fire

Finally, he didn’t know when he sneaked out and found a lighter

He ran into the fire with my diary to find her Giselle

Gigi, don’t leave me,Ethan’s voice sounded somewhat uneasy

I hugged Ethan back and whispered, No, you’re here, how could I leave.”

Fortunately

In this lifetime, I did not miss you again
