Chapter 3
I charged down the hallway, a swarm of wolves behind me. Customers and staff froze mid-step, their eyes glued to us like they could sense blood in the air.
“This one,” I said, pointing straight at the door labeled 3609.
My father didn’t hesitate. He slammed his foot into it, sending the door crashing open.
And just like that, the entire room fell silent.
Inside, Paxton and Ursula were tangled together-completely naked.
For a second, they were too lost in each other to notice us. Then their faces twisted from pleasure to panic.
“Ah!” Ursula shrieked, scrambling for the sheets to cover herself.
“Alpha? Luna? W-What are you doing here?” Paxton stammered as he jumped up, realizing too late that his clothes were
scattered across the floor by the door.
My father’s face darkened, veins bulging in his neck. “What the hell is going on here?”
Tears spilled from Ursula’s eyes like pearls cut from a string.
“June invited me here for drinks. I thought she just needed to relax after a tough week,” she whimpered. “But it was a trap
-she hired someone to rape me.”
Paxton didn’t even bother putting on his pants. He dropped to his knees with a dramatic thud.
“Alpha… Luna… I didn’t have a choice. June forced me into it.”
“She said she was jealous. Ever since Tristan and Ursula sealed the mate bond, he’s been distant. She couldn’t stand that
he gave all his attention to Ursula.”
“She told me that if Ursula was defiled, Tristan would reject her and break the bond. And if I didn’t help her, she’d end our
bond instead-let our wolves grow weak and die together.”
“Bullshit!” I snapped, slapping him across the face so hard his head jerked sideways.
My father instinctively shoved me back. “June! What is wrong with you? That’s your brother!”
He raised his hand to strike me.
Mom’s eyes were bloodshot. “How… how did I raise a daughter like you?”
But just before my father’s hand came down, Cameron, our family Beta, caught his wrist.
“Alpha Dominic, stop. This won’t help anything.”
My father shook him off. “Are you really still defending her after what she’s done?! Look at this disgrace!”
His hands trembled, pointing at me like I was the curse on our bloodline. He looked ten years older than he had just a few

hours ago.
Outside the room, wolves had already gathered, their whispers swelling into a chorus of judgment.
“Can’t believe the Alpha Dominic’s little daughter would do something so vile…”
“She tried to have her own sister-in-law assaulted? Isn’t Ursula our Luna?”
“Never thought I’d see a she-wolf jealous of her own brother’s mate…”
The crowd’s murmurs dug into my skin like claws.
Ursula, sensing the momentum, burst into even louder sobs.
“Alpha, Luna… Tristan’s coming home tomorrow. How am I supposed to face him now?”
Paxton followed her lead with perfect timing. “She told me we had to act before he got back or we’d lose our chance. She
even threatened to dissolve our mate bond and trigger a collapse that could kill us both.
I locked eyes with Paxton, calm as ice.
“So I really forced you, huh?”
He nodded without shame. “Yes. I’ve got the chat logs right here on my phone.”
“Proof?” a deep voice cut through the chaos.
It was Tristan.
He stood at the door in black, golden-brown eyes sharp as blades. At over six feet tall, he filled the entire doorway with a
cold, commanding presence that made the room instinctively fall silent.
His Alpha aura hit like a wall of iron.
Paxton fumbled with his phone, stammering, “Th-the chat logs are right here. She told me to do it. I swear-if I’m lying,
may the moon strike me down.”
Tristan’s jaw clenched tighter with every word he read.
“It’s not what it looks like, you have to believe me-” I tried.
But before I could finish, Tristan kicked me straight into the wall.
“When did you become this vile?” he spat.
Ursula collapsed into his arms.
“I’m dirty now, Tristan,” she whispered. “Reject me. Let’s break the bond.”
He held her close, eyes burning with hatred as he looked at me like I was poison.
Before he could lay another hand on me, two Pack Enforcers rushed in.

“We received a report of a sexual assault,” one of them announced. “Where’s the victim?”
Ursula dropped to the floor in front of them, voice cracking with practiced desperation.
“Please-you have to report this to the Alpha King. My sister-in-law tried to have me raped just to make my mate reject
me!”
Paxton chimed in like it was rehearsed. “I admit I did it-but only because she forced me. I’ve got the proof.”
Tristan handed the phone over to the Enforcers.
They scrolled through it, then looked up. “Who called it in?”
I calmly raised my hand.
“I did.”
The entire room went still.
“You… called the Enforcers?” Tristan stared at me, stunned. “Why the hell would you do that?”
“She’s trying to act innocent now,” Ursula cried. “Pack Enforcers, arrest her! You have the proof!”
One of the Enforcers frowned. “Aside from this message log, do you have any other concrete evidence she orchestrated
it?”
Ursula and Paxton both froze.
Paxton blinked. “I mean… do I count?”
I let out a soft laugh. Every eye in the room turned to me.
“What a lovely display,” I said, voice dripping with venom. “A pair of mutts gnawing at each other’s throats.”
“Since neither of you have real proof, maybe it’s time you listened to mine.” I reached into my pocket, pulled out my phone,
and tapped on a recording.
“Everyone, listen carefully.”
