Chapter 6
Everyone quickly pulled out their phones, and unsurprisingly, the live stream had already shot to the top of the trending list on the werewolf social platform.
[Luna Ursula is a pure evil.]
[That bastard of a man, not only did he cheat, but he went ahead and ruined someone else’s family.]
[To take over someone else’s pack and steal their mate’s fortune, just how far are they willing to go? What’s left that they
won’t do?]
[I feel so bad for the sister. She must have been in so much pain after being kicked by her brother.]
Ursula squeezed her eyes shut, unable to bring herself to look at the comments flooding in below.
Paxton wasn’t in much better shape. His body was shaking, and he couldn’t say a word.
“No… This can’t be happening. I planned this perfectly, how could it be exposed?”
Ursula’s gaze was vacant. She looked like a fool, muttering to herself, speaking into the air.
Dad and Tristan stood in the corner, their eyes filled with complicated emotions as they watched the chaos unfold. Mom, on the other hand, had already burst into tears.
At that moment, a notification popped up on her phone.
#Brother-in-law and Ursula together again.#
#Luna Ursula and the sister’s mate framed the sister with a fake rape accusation to take over the pack. #
#The scumbags are back together. #
Countless trending topics flooded the list.
Ursula broke down in tears, her eyeliner smeared all over her face.
The Pack Enforcers stepped forward, their expressions serious.
“Come with us to the police station for further investigation.”
Ursula struggled to break free from the Pack Enforcers’ grip.
“Let… Let go of me! I’m pregnant, you can’t arrest me.”
Tristan had been in the North for training and the Alpha gala for three months, and now Ursula was pregnant. Everyone
knew whose child it was.
The Pack Enforcers sighed, “Whether you’re pregnant or not, you still have to come with us for questioning.”
Ursula immediately fell to her knees before me.
*June, I’m sorry. Please forgive me. I really don’t want to go to jail.”

She sobbed at my feet, her cries full of desperation.
Paxton, seeing this, also threw himself at my feet.
“Honey, I… I was wrong. Please forgive me. She seduced me, and I was confused for a moment. Please forgive me. Let’s go back to how things were.”
Love can be a fragile thing, and in the blink of an eye, these two people, who just moments ago wanted nothing more than to hurt each other, now clung to each other like their lives depended on it.
I ignored their pleas, stepping back a little.
The Pack Enforcers successfully led them away to the police station.
Tristan hesitated before walking toward me.
“That kick must have hurt,” he said quietly.
“I’m sorry, June. We were wrong. We misunderstood you.”
I subtly avoided his hand when he reached out.
“Is it even worth apologizing now?”
“If I hadn’t been careful and recorded everything, would you have just believed Ursula’s accusation and assumed I had
someone assault her?”
Dad kept his head lowered, his voice barely above a whisper. “We’ve all been deceived by her… I should’ve seen it. I’m sorry, June. I failed you.”
I thought for a moment before speaking again. “Stop. I’ve got an important meeting tomorrow. I don’t want to waste any
more energy on this.”
Tristan looked at me with a complex expression, but in the end, he simply nodded.
